  • Go Bro

    You are amazing bro

  • I think the pure raw vegan diet works very well for sometime but then the body starts sort of disintegrating. Not scientific talk but. Notice under Tim's eyes, he looks a little as if emaciated. I notice this with many long term raw foodists. It just looks wrong. as if its not healthy. The people within the first few years of a raw diet don't have this.

  • @drevyl

What do you mean by "sort of disintegrate" ?

  • @drevyl i think you probably need to see other parts of the body to really check for emaciation. i see your point but i think the whole world can benefit from the insight that we what are "used to seeing" is not necessarily correct. in other words, most people have too much body fat and that's what is the norm for society for years and years.

  • a mango and a plum? is this breatharianism tim? i wish you make 10 mangos and 10 plums in yoiur smoothie like your psyoligical need.

  • Tim,

Head north a bit and run up Idaho Peak. Near New Denver. Incredible workout and amazing view.

  • Dude im in flood ravaged Rockhampton and for a few days there we didn't have food supplies such as bananas. So when the carbs are low and your trying to blend apples and silverbeet, how do you deel with the lack of energy and more importantly (for someone fat) how do you deel with the REAL sense of HUNGER?

  • @keepinitdown when you fast or do have as much food as your use to your body starts to adapt your stomach starts to shrink and because you have a shortage of harmful foods and sugar your body will not be hungry nearly as often. It's hard the first week but not after it becomes a habit and you brain comes back on line and tells your body you are full.

  • My five (and a half!) year old daughter says: "He's one funny mister smoothie guy", I have to say that I agree:)

  • great tips doing green smoothies on the road. thanks

  • Stay thirsty my friends...not for beer

  • Where did you get the jars with handles to drink from?

  • Tim next time I want more "cute girfriend camera time" :D

    keep running and rawing

  • I'm impressed!

  • Haha!!!! Tim, that's awesome! I can only image the kinds of looks you got in there while people were doing their laundry!

    Audrey

  • hah brilliant. I think i'll start doing this when traveling :)

  • Those bananas didn't look right

  • @dazz7400 they looked frozen actually

  • Good one... like your humor. "... carved out for.... benches"

  • truly dedicated

  • Tim gets all the ladies!

  • looks delicious

  • Cool idea. They are having fun enjoying themselfs.Maybe more than most comment-haters ever will.:)

  • @hardnine why..lol

  • Romaine lettuce > spinach > kale.

Kale is hard to digest, and has broccoli-like properties (not optimal to eat raw).

    Go low-fat raw vegan.

And the best way to be "raw on the road" is easy. Walk out your front door with a banana, and eat it.

  • @TheSuperAstro tim knows what he's doing- he aint called running raw for nothing :) been raw for a long time.... over 40 winning serious races that are super challenging... kale seems to be working for him...

  • @blueberryandcacao His diet is definitely remarkable, my point is that he can still improve it! :)

  • @TheSuperAstro kales fine to me.. no digestion problem.. ?

  • @misseptember Kale is definitely better than many other things, and I consummed quite frequently in the past, my point is that Tim can still improve his diet! :)

  • @TheSuperAstro Does it make a difference if you blend the kale into a green smoothie, does that make it easier to digest. Personally, kale is one of my favorite greens. It lasts awhile in the fridge and it tastes great in a green smoothie. Believe it or not, but lemon balm is my favorite green to use in a green smoothie.

  • @rayme4raw Yes, blending improves digestibility of many vegetables, a little bit like cooking but with much less dramatic effects. In fact, the speed at which the blades hit the particles make it heat substantially at its extremities (by friction) and that does break apart some amino acids/protein and other nutriments, which is helpful in the case of kale. The vitaminmix blender for instance can boil water solely with its rotating blade, because it is very powerful (may be too much for true raw)
