I have a buddy who tried that......he didn't have much luck, so he went to these people who professionally appraise muscle cars, and are based in every state in the U.S, so that way you can get a car that you wouldn't be able to see in person. It's not cheap....500 bucks an appraisal, but well worth it......so if you're still looking, give that a shot. I forgot the name of the company, but do a web search. He bought an awesome numbers matching 1969 383 road runner.
Its hit and miss really. I sold my last 66 GTO on EBAY. I am in California, and a guy from Wisconsin bought it. He paid me, and drove out, and trailered it home. The sale went well. Now there was this time I bought a 1995 Ford Bronco on EBAY, that wasn't in as good as condition as stated. If you can drive to see the car, do it first.
Yhis is THE CAR!
Hey, new CEO of GM - take your compact cars and throw them in the Pasific Ocean.
Make a new GTO based on this model, and you have a hit. Do the same with the classic Chevelle 'Muscle'. Vroooom!
