  • this thing is an abomanation our founding fathers never had in mind a dude would chop off his pecker and get a pair of tits. 2 points. 1 a private employer has the right to hire who they choose based on whatever they choose . they have the right to say no blacks gays or whatever. but a black owner can hire only blacks if they choose same with gay employers they can hire only gays if they choose its called freedom of choice.2. trannys dont count cuz there not really people they are abominations

  • WE ARE INFINITY,WE ARE GOD,WE ARE AN ETERNAL EXISTENCE!!! I LOVE YOU,if nobody else accepts you for who you are,i do.i mean what i say.

  • weirdo

  • bigot

  • i love trannys

  • haha! i'm watching this now in 2009, and Nancy Pelosi is the new speaker of the house. It's awesome how two years can bring about change.

  • My brother got fired for his Bipolar Disorder, but he's 16. What's he going to argue?

To the person below me, I'm moving to CO next year to buy my first home and go through my transition.

  • Hey thats good that they fired your Bipolar Disorder brother because no one likes people with Bipolar

  • Love the Quiet Riot Erin!! I agree with you on all of this! If NY gets too crazy for ya come to Colorado! Great state albeit close to home for ya....

  • So what exactly do we say when we call? Or is this not in effect anymore since this is like from a year ago..

  • haha im naked!!! who wants a strip tease msg me! R

  • you're from utah? have we met? when did you begin transition and was it here? we actually have many companies in SLC who allow transition on the job. many of us have done a good job at educating Utah.

  • Has there been any updates on the laws...

  • McIntosh, 27, was wearing "facial makeup, lipstick, blue Capri pants, red 'flip-flops,' a flowery blouse and a matching flowery women's bra," said Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe. Police said shortly after he exited the store, the 27-year-old rammed his 1994 black GEO Tracker into the building seven times and caused over $3,000 in damage and merchandise to fall off the shelves

  • So by that very logic all white males should be considered potential serial killers because of Charles Manson? All women should be considered to be whores because of strippers. And all vice presidents should not be allowed to go duck hunting because of Cheney?

You can't judge a whole section of humanity, with a legitimate disease, based on the actions of one psycho, otherwise we'll have society where you can fire someone for having ADD (per say) because someone with ADD once committed a crime.

  • If this person is a man who identifies as a crossdresser, it is a bit different than a transsexual who identifies as a woman and dresses appropriately for her gender. I don't condone the discrimination by the store, but I do not condone the violent act by the driver of the car, either.

  • This is unacceptable for this government. Tranvestites should have just as many rights and just as much freedom and comfort in this society in this modern age as anyone else and saying otherwise goes again the constitution and against any idea of freedom in the USA.

I'll call soon, I'm not getting through either right now. Good on ya girl, go get those bastards!

  • Glad you agree, but I'm not a transvestite.

  • Wish people would attempt to learn the difference between transvestite and transsexual. *sighs*

  • Is the number still in effect? This needs to be addressed discrimination is just WRONG!

  • It is in effect 365 days a year... but it is not specifically related to this bill, just Nancy Pelosi's office.

This bill actually died in the senate, so no one has this protection unless the state or city they live in has passed legislation.

  • cocks... duh.

  • lol. that was a no brainer

  • No they don't. Some just sit back and let discrimination happen. Imagine if civil rights leaders, or gay rights leaders, or womens rights leaders had had the attitude that we should just sit back and let things "run their course"... blacks would be slaves, women wouldn't have the right to vote or own property. Personally, that isn't the kind of world I want to live in and I am sorry that you feel that equal rights aren't worth fighting for.

  • When did I say I was a role model?

since when does talking about things that matter to me make my ego big?

I don't get what yours and Karmavisions problems are with me... is it because I don't talk with her online anymore? Because I don't talk with anyone online anymore... I don't have time to sit and talk with every person who ever sent me a message... wish I did but there just aren't enough hours in the day.

Anyway, get over this "thing" you have with me and grow the fuck up.

  • She's a role model to me.

  • grishno is a role model to me too.

  • *rolls eyes @ uneducated posts* your does NOT equal you're, the contraction for you are. if you're going to post f'idiot posts, at least don't be a f'idiot doing so.

  • as a response to your hiring-transexuals-problem: you represent a certain company and as the hate against you would never stop, the company doesn't want to take any risk by spoiling its image or losing its customers just because you represent it.

  • Doesn't that sound familiar though? What you just said sounds exactly like what whites would say about blacks in the 1950's... or what men would say about women before women were allowed to vote, or own property... or even what bigots said before gay rights. You say there is hate against me and I don't disagree...

  • Cont 2...

I certainly understand where you're coming from though. I have seen many transsexual whom I would not hire because of they way they presented themselves (6" heels with fishnets, miniskirt, DD breasts and a 5 o'clock shadow)... but someone like myself who don't strive to stand out as "trans" in any way...

  • Cont 4... (last one)...

Explain to me how that is fair and reasonable? Explain to me why that doesn't deserve to be illegal they say way that discrimination against someone based on race, religion, or gender (GENDER!!!) is illegal?

  • Cont...

but why is that there? It is there for no healthy reason that is for sure. It is there because of fear, anger, and prejudice... all of which should not legally be allowed to affect someones employment eligibility. So... I am currently in charge of hiring at my job and if I were to say to you that I would not hire you because I don't like Romanians and I don't want customers or clients to see that we work with Romanians... would that be fair?

  • Cont 3...

I dress and act professional and I work really hard. I would bet that I do a better job than most Non-trans people... infact, at my last job no one ever knew I was trans... however, if they would have found out they would have legally had the right to fire because of it... not because of my work ethic or performance.

  • i totally agree with you girl there is descrimination out there

  • calgarybill-I get so tired of the SAME OLD hate responses! "sck off men". WTF, She has a GIRLFRIEND, she doesn't even like men, in that way. I'm a bi-transgendered woman, and I HATE the thought of ANAL SEX! Why is it just b/c we want to be female you assume, we want to take cock up the ass? Idiot!

  • Hehe, anal sex.

  • I think that the only roll that the Government should play is in the protection on basic Transgender rights , I tottaly disagree with the " All is one and one is all" ,and conform to our one singular norm stuff tottaly sux , The Government will not be changing on Transgender rights issues anytime soon that I can see. However I will alway be a supporter & Advocate for Transsexuals knee deep in lifes struggles ! very complex issues. God Bless the USA

  • are you ever shocked by how closed minded people can be?

Are people within the government thinking that transgendered and gay are the same thing so they don't have to list it as a seperate entity?

  • Just a reminder: You were made to be a growing human, born into the age of infancy. If you want to continue being an infant and never change and grow, then I suppose that's your choice, isn't it? Because either way, that's how you were 'made'. If you can accept being an unchanging baby all your life, then certainly, you're not a loser at all! /sarcasm

  • You, sir, belive a thing wheir we are trapped to live life like everyone else, and anyone that isnt like that dosent belong in this world. People are diffrent, people stick out of crowds (and I think crowds are completley stupid, it tries to make everyone the same) and people live their life diffrent, if you don't like a person because of their sexuality, gender, skin color, accent, age, or anything like that, then get the fuck out of this universe.

  • SCK? .... Men? ... uh huuuu.

And I am sorry that you are not able to accept how you were made.

Envy is a powerful creature, you should try and tame it to make yourself less obvious.

  • Nice... but I think that someone already through of doing that before and it didn't really work out that well for him. Some guy, you probably haven't heard of him... I think his name was Hitler? Anyway, he shot himself in the head... That seemed to work out better for him in the end... maybe you should follow his example there too.

  • how frustrating for you. I am so sorry that we live in a time like this, but you can officially consider your side plus one on this issue baby!!!! ^_^

    I phoned: 10/19/07

  • Thanks for phoning!

  • Here's a nice to the point vid on the subject:

    /watch?v=PvOR2y923zM

  • Barney Frank's a fag

  • Good luck with getting your voice heard , i knew of someone who was fired based on her being transgendered but since she couldn't find a job in phoenix she committed suicide

  • and yet you are against the bill...

  • keep up your crap I DON'T CARE !

  • I just dont see why you are against the bill. this is good for the American people! we need this bill to pass to make job discrimination a crime! why are you so against that?

  • so by disincluding people that makes it ok ? the fact it would be absolutly hell for someone to find a job ?

  • tell me something , if you are in a position where u have no chance of ever working again because of who you are what would u do ? seriously tell me

  • first of all i am. I am an airman in the USAF. if it came out and i got discharged it would ALWASE be on my record. so that issue confronts me more than most people. and secondly I come from texas which is extreamly discriminatory...however I am out at my current job...(pending active duty again).

there will always be jobs available. and u know what I get payed damn well in my civilian job.

  • try doing ur civillian job as a woman then my friend and tell me about it

  • I am openly gay and TS at my current job so I fail to see the distinction.

  • thats fine and dandy , anyways i see no point in us continuing to bitch about this , lets drop it and call a truce , im gettin a head ache with this crap

  • You would be fired for being tranny regardless of your sexual orientation if your employers felt like doing so and under the whittled down bill, you couldn't argue against the trans discrimination.

    Doy

  • It is just so frustrating... but the worst part is that they are trying to seperate the GLBT community, and it is working. Take the T out of GLBT so that at least your protect some, that is the mentality and it is fucked up. We're a community and we should stick together.

  • Moar like a disgruntled coalition, but whatever

  • *sorry let me clarify. I am reserve status USAF pending active duty due to an injury during tech school. I am currently a Martial Arts Instructor.

  • Pelosi has merely postponed action on this bill for two weeks to try to gather enough support for a trans-inclusive bill. HRC has not taken a strong stand against a bill that cuts us out. Therefore we need to lobby the hell out of Congress. Please sign these petitions:

    hrcactioncenterDOTorg/campaign/enda_oct

    nosubstitutesDOTorg

  • so Erin, if this bill doesn't get passed does that mean murdering some1 b/c they are transgender is no longer considered a hate crime? or is this bill only for jobs & discrimination???

  • The hate crime bill already passed. this bill I am talkign about is the job discrimination.

  • thank you both, i'm glad the hate crime bill already passed, but isn't hatecrimes just another way of saying murdering b/c of discrimination? if some1 is willing to kill b/c of discrimination, couldn't they also fire or not hire b/c of discrimination? so why is it even a question to have the other bill passed or not? that sounds a bit silly.

  • nobody deserves to be dicriminated against, be it gay, straight, man, woman, transgender, black, white, yellow, purple polker dotted alien from mars. everyone should have a voice, and nobody should have the right to abuse another human. more so nobody has the right to take away your victimhood, I would call if I was in the states

  • remember though, even if it is passed by the house we cant let up. the congress has to ratify it and the president will than have to sign it to become law. we MUST keep the heat on even if it passes the house. thanks to all who have contributed so far and thanks to Erin for spreading the word.

  • *excuse me the senate must ratify it

  • Thank you for your inspirational video. Alot of folks were motivated by it. We rocked Speaker Pelosi's amd Franks political house yesterday. They gambled that with the no comment of HRC, AND WERE EXPOSED. CALL YOUR SENATOR. WE ARE'NT GOING TO TAKE IT.

  • hey. i live in ireland. dont think ive ever left a comment on ur vids before but ive watched all of them nd have been watching u on youtube for months. just rang that number there now. automated message saying office is currently closed but i left a message and will ring again tommorrow!

  • Congrats for being the most annoying Transgendered woman in all of the World!

  • Wow, the whole world? What an honor.

  • i called and they said that the mailbox was full. I HATE THE CORUPT GOVT.

  • do you really wonder why this happens? as long as the APA define TS als identity-thing and give people the arguments about ts as lifestyle thing or psychic disorder, the society will treat trans-woman as man who wants to become women or define them as ex-men. but: trans-woman are - i think so - are born as women. ts is not a choice of lifestyle.

  • Agreed. That has an impact worldwide. My IDENTITY is not a DISORDER just because someone else has with enough power and influence to classify it as such happens to a problem with it. When I came out I was trans. That is it. It is just another act of violence. I don't know why I'm different and apart from curiosity why would I care? I am a human being! I suffered gender distress. THAT was a disorder and THAT was caused by INTOLERANCE.

  • I transitioned over a decade and a half ago and I'm so angry with intolerance that I'm finally on the verge of breaking out! LEAVE US ALONE AND LEAVE THE KIDS/OUR KIDS THE HELL ALONE AND LET US LIVE OUR LIVES YOU AROGANT PRICKS.

  • IMO the DSM IV diagnosis of Gender Identity Disorder is a huge barrier to achieving true equality for trans people. As long as the APA and medical community define us as being disordered we will never achieve true equality from legislators or society in general. We need a concerted effort to remove GID from DSM V in the same way that LGB was removed from DSM III.

  • just out of curiosity wouldn't the same thing apply in that case to, couldn't the employer just say that they wanted to find someone with better performance or some lame excuse like that? The people I've heard who've been fired for being trans all received a cover reason like that.

  • New South Wales, Australia, has had these laws for over 10 years. Discrimination still happens but the rate of it has fallen dramatically. The sky never fell in because transgendered people started getting jobs.

  • hey if it sounds like I have something against laws protecting trans people think again. I'm just skeptical that laws have the ability to force bad people to do good things.

  • It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

    Martin Luther King, Jr.

  • Look whatever, I hope the non discrimination act passes I really do, but I for one am still going to expect a lot discrimination in my future, but I hope legislation like this can help someone, but I doubt that person will be me.

  • We no discrimination doesn't end with a law but it's where legal justice begins. You never know , you might be surprised.

  • that's sad.

  • The comment where I actually say I hope the law passes (of course I meant with the added protection) was the one to get voted down, LOL!

  • Because you're such a downer sometimes.

  • I wear those thumbs down with pride, lol

  • you know nuclearswan, i luv ur vids, but no offense, but if every1 had that kind of attitude, (confidence, positivity, hope) women still wouldn't be able to vote, i wouldn't know who the hell harriet tubman was b/c she was to scard to lead the Underground railroad. i would be walking miles with rosa parks instead of taking the bus b/c she was to scared not to stay on the bus when she was told to get off. so really?

  • I don't want to clutter up erins chanell anymore, hehe so if anyone else wishes to comment check your mailbox for my PM.

  • no no, clutter it up. Get it out.

  • eh sorry I already sent a couple pms and they're way to long for the comments to hold anyway.

  • MORE GREAT NEWS! From the Washington Blade:

"Following a groundswell of opposition from gay activists, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) late Monday put the brakes on plans to bring [ENDA] to a vote in the House in the next two weeks without protections for transgender persons."

She did this after more than 90 prominent national and state gay and transgender rights organizations presented her and Congress with a petition expressing strong opposition.

  • Now I want to record a video to that .... aaah, where's my camera??

  • HOT OFF THE PRESS! HRC did the right thing and signed a letter to the House committee handling the ENDA, urging them *not* to proceed with the markup session that would remove transgender protections from the bill. Now, the ball is in Pelosi's court. Will she and Frank listen to their constituents?

  • Badass! Who said this was hopeless? But this is no time to let up the pressure... it is time to step it up actuallyl. We need to keep calling and keep being heard.

  • That is horrible! Such an injustice! To me, thats saying that we dont matter and we are a group that can be pushed aside and ignored. I dont want any special rights above non-trans people but its a reality that some employers dont approve of this and to have the law that protected us taken away is horrible.

  • (A.) with all the bills 2 pay, & transsioning, plus everything else on their own with little to no support, a tg person who is lucky enough to even get a job while transsioning, would probably be way more dedicated to their jobs than the average person. those who are tg that were lucky enough 2 get a job (as hard as it is) & face criticism (just like Erin Said) proves that they don't even let criticism, stars&looks even stop them from working...

  • (B.continued...) so if you ask me, a person who would let something like a transgender/gay/lesbian or whatever person "distract" or get in the way of their job performance should be the ones fired not a transgender/gay/les.

  • A big issue I have here is the idea that other people might be unselltled by it. This is not materially different to other people being unsettled by colour, religion or homosexuality. If we advocate denying a transgender person a job on the basis that others may be unsettled then we sell out the rights of us all whenever anyone decides that they were unsettled.

  • Good for you girl!!! your video has been forwarded by alot of people. Check out NY. they excluded T from a state bill and promised T they would come back for them in 2002. They are still waiting now. WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT !!!!!!

  • If someone killed you its murder no matter how you look at it. Doesnt matter if you are TG or gay or black or female its murder!! How does this bill change that?

  • That law was already passed earlier this year. What it does is it adds time to the sentence if the state can prove that the murder was specifically because the victim was gay, or trans, or black, or whatever.

  • because there are several levels of murder. for example a random non premeditative murder has a chance of getting out after so many years. however if that same crime was a hate crime it is life in prison. also if it is 1st degree murder it could be the deciding factor if or not they get the death penalty.

  • Because there is a far higher chance that the police investigating, the lawyers, some on the jury and everyone else involved will sympathise to some extent with the killer. They are much likely to continue as a serial killer to hunt others without the Bill and the injustices continue to flow in even after the victims death. Go to google and type remembering our dead.

  • A.) it doesn't change the fact that that person was murdered, for what ever reason, but if i was murdered, i don't want to be murdered because i'm black, tg, my eye color, or my favorite color being green b/c that's a stupid reason to murder any1 b/c of discrimination of who they are.

  • B) and though the bill doesn't bring those who were already victoms of discrimination back to life, it does help reduce some1 else from getting murdererd for a stupid reason like discrimination. because if i was a victom, if i couldn't be brought back to life, i would at least want no1 else to die the same way or die at all.

  • Once again you all miss the point. Fed govt needs to stay out of business. Believe me these types of demands only result in the opposite. When you create more laws you only cause business to tighten their hiring policies to avoid risk and liability. If I were a business owner I would be very hesitant to hire anyone who could pose a problem in the future by using discrimination laws against me. Be pro-business not anti-business.

  • And once again you put the rights of big business ahead of the rights of an individual. I'm not asking for them to have a certain % of glbt member required in a business... all I want is the same oppurtunities as anyone else. The second we put big business ahead of the needs of the person is the second we lose everything.

  • Yeah this would all be correct if the playing field was level and that their weren't social and psychological biases interferring with the free market. Let me tll you bucko, the market ain't free. Non-discrimination policies are only in place to counter-act exclusionary practices. Encouraging market development, not stagnation do to biased hiring practieces.

  • I'm convinced discrimination in hiring practices has been prevalent throughout history (even up to today). I'm not convinced it's the government's job to try to fix this problem; and, assuming my mind could be changed, I'm not convinced the government provides an effective mechanism to create to protections you say are necessary.

  • You being convinced or not doesn't impact its truth. Lots of people use to think the world was flat.

  • I really don't agree with hate crime or civil rights legislation. I'm not so different from anyone else that if someone kills me they should be charged with two crimes instead of one. Also, if someone does not want to hire me because I'm gay, that's their choice. I have no right to force them to hire me, just as they have no right to force me to work for them.

  • Fair enough, no one is forcing them to hire gay people just as no one is going to force you to work somewhere. However, if I am more qualified for the job and they give it to a straight white male who is less qualified is that right?

  • It's not right, but it's a basic freedom; freedom of association. If a person or a group of people don't want to associate with me for any reason, whether it be my sexuality, gender or the size of my ears, that's between me and them. It's not the government's business to get involved in it.

  • I really believe that the Zeitgeist can move on without the government's "help", and that it should, because all the government can do is force people to do this or that. Even if they are prejudiced and bigoted and discriminating, I still don't feel it's right to force them to deal with me if they don't want to. And vice versa.

  • "it don't feel right to force them to do what they dont want to"

as if it's right for them to discriminate. when it comes to having a job, i couldn't care less about associating with coeworkers, though it would be nice. what i would want is them to set aside what ever differences or lifestyle disagreements (do to it's none of their business) & just have some common respect like a mature adult.

  • if you ask me, discriminating is childish & immature, and immature childish children need to be watched, so i think the goverment would make a great babysitter over immature childish business owners.

  • That bill already passed. What I would like it the protection that says that an employer is not allowed to discriminate against me specifically because of my gender or sexual orientation. Our country was founded on the basis of equality, and when that equality is threatened it is the job of the government to step in.

  • Erin, does your costume shop have lamb or sheep costumes? You guys should march on Congress dressed as the "sacrificial lambs" discarded by the poltiticians to get ENDA through the House! It's a pity the Democrats haven't stood firm but have succumbed to the bigotry of the religious right!

  • All my Brothers and Sister. We need to stand tall and let the people hear us roar!

  • There is something worse than someone who hates and doesn't know better. It is someone who advocates at the top of their voice that it is unacceptable to hate one person whilst at the top of their voice advocates that it is reasonable to hate another. You call yourself the land of the free? Prove it!

  • and who is it you believe to have a double standard? certainly not anyone here right?

hate is hate and its all wrong.

  • US government. I must give my (Australian government) credit though. they don't discriminate - they hate everyone equally! It's a personal challenge to everyone really (in less than 200 characters). I say the same thing about my anthem "for we are young and free." Freedom is fragile. If you don't defend it the first person to try to take it away does. I try to make that factor into every time I vote.

  • Is there anything that can be done from this side of the Atlantic? It's already been posted on a couple of lists that I subscribe to. In the UK we have employment protection rights and many corporate companies are actively recruiting trans people. This year there have even been employment fair specifically for trans people! There is still discrimination but legislation has made a difference!

  • Your courage, selflessness and willingness is the inspirational we need to win. Thank you UK.

  • Erin, loved this video! Keep it up, you are acting as a real catalyst to real change!!!

    ~~Jamie

  • i put a link to this vid in a myspase bulletin, facebook walls, and a mass e-mailing to everyone in my address book! then i called everyone i know and urged them to take the time and make a call tomorrow when the VM is empty.

  • we need to spread the word about this injustice to other TG forums around the internet too if we hope to get enough people to call their reps.

  • Agreed. Any ideas?

  • You really put alot of faith in Pelosi who is the worst house speaker in history. The democrat congress has an all time low of 11% and have done nothing abut fail this year. With more important issues facing this country i would not count on anything from these dems.

  • Unfortunately she is still the speaker of the house and that makes her our greatest hope.

  • P.S. you are such a pessimist.

  • Common on guys, you have to work within the system. Pelosi's a great friend of GLBT, afterall she's from SF, but she still has to reach out to the whole country as Madam Speaker. We do not succeed if we trannies all act like a bunch of weird wild wackos. Now, don't attack me, I am just stating the fact. Long live liberalism! Freedom to all!

  • Besides, would you rather have a Republican led House of Representatives. The Dems do not have the numbers to over ride a Presidential veto and they know it. Nothing changes until early 2009. Count on it!

  • Heck yes, I'd much rather have a Republican-led House. I'm scratching my head trying to think of a dang thing either national party has ever done for the GLBT community, and nothing comes to mind, and for what it's worth I'd rather have liberties than government protections. But heck, I'm a libertarian at heart...

  • Well, darlin', good luck with a Republican-led House. It is the Republicans who, out of religious convictions, will outlaw transsexuals and possibly gays. So, good luck with that!! Libertarians are essentially unelectable so don't hold your breath.

  • Genie P?? FYI its not a republican led house. it hasnt been since Jan 7th, 2007. At least get your politics right.

  • honestly I think we should abolish the congress on grounds that is has no

real power over the president. power in this country needs to be redistributed. I am a constitutionalist, screw republicans and democrats. this country needs to return to the fundamental principals it was founded on. "all men created equal" and "life liberty and the Pursuit of happiness" says it all on this issue as far as i am concerned

  • no, you are right. chances are nothing will happen until 2009, however we need to hold on to our convictions not to concede whenever things look like nothing will happen. and silence is conceding. the only way things change is if we are constantly yelling at the establishment.

  • Good for you Erin for posting this! Rights are a very important issue.

  • t's time to fight back folks. This is the USA, our USA, not the police/military establishment's. Remember they work for US, we pay their salaries. If they do not treat us with the respect we deserve as their BOSS we must take matters into our own hands. They are just people, their bones are just as easily broken, their blood as easily spilled. When we maintain civility and respect, we have the power, when they choose to ignore those tenants of a FREE people they deserve the fate of any tyrant.

  • lol, congressmen Thomspson form CA 1st (my rep) mail box is also full...

  • i have a friend who works for the fed, and she says the mail boxes will be emptied mon @ 9am was time, so after that lets all go and fill them up!

  • It says her mailbox is full.

    Her email

    sfDOTnancy@mailDOThouseDOTgov

    Replace DOT with .

  • Call Monday morning after 9 AM Eastern time.

  • Will do.

  • It is these issues that bring to mind the importance of not only being visible but making our voices heard. I can only hope that all members of the transgendered community realize the importance of this issue. If we don't stand and we don't fight then we are truly lost. Well stated Erin.

  • Well stated yourself.

  • You Got To fight For Your Right To Party!

    ~Beasty Boys~

Though i can't speak for anyone else but does that say it? We have to fight for what we believe in be it religion, baring arms, ANYTHING!

Whats that number again? ... just kidding!

  • Thank you grishno! I am posting a video response too and I hope that you approve it. I am angry as well.

  • Great response.

  • you were right..we are already calling..i don´t live in usa, i live in mexico.but i have my cousin that´s lives on houston texas and i said to him that he has to keep calling i mean he is not transgender but he is totally supor on me so don´t worry that line will be so busy .........!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for calling. Keep on calling until we're all heard.

  • whats ironic is that gays and tgs wanted their disorder removed from DSM-IV manual which then also removed them from being covered under many insurance and from federal discrimination laws under Americans with Disabilities Act. Now you want those protections after fighting to be reclassified? You cant have your cake and eat it too!

  • I think that you're missing the point. Being born black isn't in the DSM-IV as a disorder, yet somehow they manage to be covered under anti-discrimination laws against both violence and job discrimintion. How is this any different than that?

  • this has nothing to do with race. should an employer be required to employ a man who decides he wants to wear a dress to work and be a woman? A place of employment has customers and other employees to take into consideration. The owner owns the company not you and not the federal government.

  • The day that we start to take the attitude that corporations do not have any responsiblity to humanity and the government under which they run is going to be a very scary day.

Discrimination based on gender and sexuality is the exact same as discrimination based on race, and both are unacceptable.

  • no it dose not, however it is LIKE racism. look back 20-30 years ago...I could say the same thing about employing blacks in this country. oh, because all of my employees are also racists we don't want blacks here. or a black man will scare our costumers away. replace black with TG/gay and its how it is today. but we all agree racism is wrong right?

so why not discrimination against TG/gays

  • Hopefully in 20/30 years TG's/gays will be just as excepted as blacks and women, but until then I am going to fight for my rights as an individual, as a citizen, and a woman and as a transsexual.

  • Are you an idiot? have you ever read the ADA? It has specific sections saying trans people aren't covered. At least get your facts straight you libertarian/conservative ass hat.

  • my video response is uploading... I am so nervous.. really wanted to make a good video
