I can confirm you can play RS on a low end computer. I'm commenting from an old Pentium 3 computer, 800 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM running Win 98.

I use this to play RS on occasion. And at the moment, it can even handle Youtube!

I have a 1920x1080 computer screen and runescape can't handle it on fullscreen. (It's not that my computer can't handle it, it's that runescape can't. I play call of duty on this screen in fullscreen)

Ok. Runescape doesn't require major performance. But the cheap/quality way to play. Would be either a 2.8ghz or more single core. Or a Dual core that is atlest 2.0ghz per core. Graphics card, 128mb cards will work. But a 256mb will do full screen with no graphical lagg. Also Detail doesnt make u lagg. Hard to believe. But Detail barely affects ur internet lagg. the reason why u might lagg on hd is cause ur comp doesnt have to performance for.
