  • Your vids r so amazingly inspirational .! I mea. Really u don't even know .. I love what u do .. Thnks for keepin old cars alive ..! There ain't enough people like u anymore

  • @jordanwinans1 i couldn't have said it better my self!

  • unless an old car has sentimental value......I would never restore a junker again. I am 58 years old and have sucked up enough rust dust and paint fumes in my lungs. Looking back on it.....not worth it to your health. That crap will really shorten your life, or quality of life. I only buy decent drivable oldies now. I would rather spend the extra $2000 for a better car and shorten the restoration time.

  • HEY--I can see overhaulin producers checkin you out.You have a gift .

  • Hi Dan.....great job and vids.......has the 63' been painted yet???

  • This last set of videos were great. I'm redoing the truck on my 1968 Buick

convertible and you have been a great source of both inspiration and a couple of great time-savers. Thank-you so much.

  • Restodan...we're all waiting with bated breath for the next installment!

  • I just ran into your vid's and I must say that they are very good and informative. Obviously you know what your doing and have a lot of experience so I give you a lot of props. I'm just wondering when when your next vid is being posted cause I'm sure looking forward to seeing the completion of the 63'.

  • restodan,

i have to comment on your hole series here. i too have got hooked on your progress on this car. i am actually in afghanistan right this second and as soon as i get back to san francisco i going to pick something up and restore it. thanks for all your great insight and look forward to the next video.

  • IF that's an original truck 350, its likley a 4bolt main if that matters.

I agree, anytime you can keep an old classic out of the junk yard, you do it. It makes me cringe at times when I go to wrecking yards and see what people have allowed to go in there for $100 or so. Keep'em alive guys, and even some, bring'em back from the dead.

  • Amazing work. Makes me feel silly with all the excuses I've come up with to avoid the car projects I need to do. You surely are an inspiration!

  • Wow, Awesome work ! I hope you keep it long enough to get some paint on it. Thank God some one is saving these old Chevys! You are a master of shade tree mechanics!

  • Looks like you're a fine welder Dan. That trunks lookin pretty good Mister.

  • Yo Restodan, Iam a big fan..I too love the old cars but I dont have the talent to restore them like u do...I have had a few old cars in my day and I still have one put up..I too live in FT Worth Tx. I would to see ur 63 some day and talk old cars with a car nut like myself...Keep up the good work...I wish I live next door to u cause I know where I would spend most of my time...LOL

  • You're an interesting man, Dan. If I ever get back into the lone star state, I'd like to spend the day with you. Very enjoyable vids.

    Keep it weird, dude.

  • hey dan... is that a decorative lincoln plate just under that 350?

  • @TheLincolnGuy Yes it is, it came on my wifes 05 Lincoln LS.

  • watching your videos makes not wanna sell mine

  • restor it dont sell it becouse it would probibley become another 63 impala low rider if you wear to sell it

  • Should paint it snow white/clear-coat.

  • I hope you use some ear protection. That grinding is crazy load.

  • Your Video's are Real World. Keep the Family 1st. Keep the Vid's coming when you have time. Thank You for making them.

  • Dan, great job, i know first hand how hard it is working on projects work full time spent time with family and take care of a house. but i like your out look on life, family first......... great car it has to be saved. thx Dan, you have a friend in MA.

  • It's honorable how you save the classics and keep them on the road. Well job.

  • Nice job Dan, It wount be long until you have that car finished, wish I had a rewelder then I could repair the rust holes on my cars as well.

  • dan, you give me motivation son! Keep making the video's,

i check in everyday. Whenever i feel lazy i just watch one of your vids and i get the motivation to go outside and at least do SOMETHING.

  • i never thought i would find someone willing to put in work like i do- i need to post vids of my 64 2 door hardtop 4 speed car....a small few of my past projects are on my vids but none of the good ones- the funny part is what these people do not see the hours and hours of finesse with metal. i had to replace the sump pan in my trunk and the drivers rear floor, luckily the support was still perfect- ill post vids in a week or two when im doing paint and body.....keep being inspirational!

  • you are an inspiration man! you do great work!

    Blessings,

    george

  • you are an inspiration.

  • doing a good job keep it up

  • Dan your kids grow up so fast.....always put them first. After you retire you'll be so busy it'll be strange thinking how you ever found to hold a full time job in the first place. But do find your videos interesting and informative.......

  • great job

  • Good Job Danny... See You At LaGrave... ;)
