In the cup series, it was only 1994. Hoosier was plagued with allegations of an unsafe tire as they had to dramatically soften their tire to increase performance over Goodyear. They eventually withdrew in late 1994 after hurting financially because of a NASCAR rule that required them to bring tires for all competitors, even though they were only suppling very few tires, meaning many tires went unused during events.
Quality Care left Bud Moore's team for Robert Yates. Looked what happened to Moore's team 4 or 5 years later and looked what happened to Yates at about the same time.
I wish they would take this long to decide for a caution in today's races

I recall Kurt Busch crashing into a tire wall in practice and running strong in the race.

I was a HUGE Lake Speed fan back in the day, going all the way back to the Wynns/K-Mart days on the #83 car. Thanks for uploading this video!

When did NASCAR use Hoosier tires? From 19XX to 1994?

It's amazing how much greener Sears Point was back then

It still is (seriously). It's just the fact that the race was held around May 15th back then. Now, it's in the middle of the dry season.

Back when Sears Point was cool... now it's a boring, neutered waste of a race.
