Some one I met at a travel show in London recommended it to me. They had just come back and could not stop talking about it. They said there was a new big tent there with three rooms, is this the same place?
Very good video, love it but a bit squeaky at the end. I did not know why all those zebras and lions stayed in the Masai Mara. Nice views there, I really miss my E.R.M tent I was there 3 years ago, there were so many animals and birds near my tent. Jonathan was one of our Masai guides. I must go back .
Jonathan is still there. Our Christmas clients just emailed me to say they sore a pride of lions at the river by the ERM administration tent. They had only come to drink but the zebras that were already at the river fled in all directions.
Two days ago there was a leopard eating a Thomsons gazelle about 20 meters to the right of the Transmara ford. It was eating it on the ground; normally they take them into a tree to eat.
Brilliant place, I spent 4 days there with my friends. There were some elephants at the lower end of private Mara for two days. We walked and crossed the river and drove around central Masai Mara
We saw lots of lions, elephants and even cheethas and a leopard. We even went to the local town it just like a Wild West town no roads no pavement and chickens and children every where.
