Please, understand that opposition is not arbitrary. People work to block certain practices or alternative lifestyles, because they effect people in the community who see such behavior as immoral, obscene, perverse or criminal. The statistical fact that gay couples who raise children tend to produce gay children means that their is an influence, a flux. If that influence can be shown to be negative, and effects the community then an argument can be made. It doesn't make it right or wrong at this point, but at least one can see that this is following the flow of logic. To simply say that people should be free to do what they will is not a logical position, nor feasible, in communities or politics.

Actually, no. I'm 15. I am the first high school student to do so. I never said I was against our president, in fact, he has been my favorite since the beginning, through both Clinton and McCain. I will go against my own party if I believe somebody will do the country good, and I still have hope he will. I also get annoyed with people who can't carry on a civil conversation (in both parties) so we have some common ground.

That means everyone who is uninsured must buy insurance and the people who have insurance have to keep buying it or else they are fined. Who gains from that? When people are not able to buy strawberries they don't rob gas stations in the effort to buy more strawberries. The extreme that people go to for drugs (to get high), for example, show that they are not in their right minds. So, make drugs legal right? Won't they still cost money? So, make drugs free, because it's a welfare issue, a disease issue. And down we go.

Please, understand that opposition is not arbitrary. People work to block certain practices or alternative lifestyles, because they effect people in the community who see such behavior as immoral, obscene, perverse or criminal. To what extent is this a legitimate cause? To the extent that you can make a cogent argument that properly refutes behaviors that effect other people.
Such oversimplification, in my opinion, is what drove the election of Barack (the rhetorician) Obama.

The statistical fact that gay couples who raise children tend to produce gay children means that their is an influence, a flux. If that influence can be shown to be negative, and effects the community then an argument can be made. It doesn't make it right or wrong at this point, but at least one can see that this is following the flow of logic. To simply say that people should be free to do what they will is not a logical position, nor feasible, in communities or politics.

Actually, no. I'm 15. I am the first high school student to do so. I never said I was against our president, in fact, he has been my favorite since the beginning, through both Clinton and McCain. I will go against my own party if I believe somebody will do the country good, and I still have hope he will. I also get annoyed with people who can't carry on a civil conversation (in both parties) so we have some common ground.
As for the typo, I pointed it out due to you mentioning education.
