Jailbreaking is legel if you dont have a phone service, for instance, if you jailbreak your ipod touch since you dont have a phone service, you cant get arrested or fined.

jailbreaking the iphone isn't illegal at all, it just voids your warranty. i dont even have one and i know this.

Th3R1ngRul3r-yeah, it's a theme called blackout. it's a part of the big boss repo. just go into cydia, search blackout, install it, go into winterboard and check it on, let it reboot, and you're golden

yeah you need a jailbreak. Looking at it further, iRealSMS is not free. :( Use quickpwn to jailbreak your 2.2. I did a walkthrough on my channel. It's the featured video.
