whether or not you like to admit it, Morrissey's music has also not been half as good as when he was in the Smiths.

I own all of Morrissey's albums, I am still very new to his music. But, I've begun to realize that Morrissey really is a narcissistic ass hole.

Morrissey feels his opinions take precedence over everyone else's, he's a misanthropist, and then he wonders why some people do not like him.

I love the Smiths and Morrissey independently, and I strongly agree with most of your commentary. Every will agree this was an Ebony/Ivory, 50/50 situation. But the Moz is a long admitted narcisist. He would tell you today that he is a narcisist. It is written all over his music and his personal interviews. The last 10 seconds are priceless. The way Johnny looks off and bites his lip, he knew what he was saying wasn't true. The Smiths would have easily continued to be great, but he had to get out of what had become an unhealthy situation within the band. Still, you can see the uncertainty in Marr. What would the future hold? All wrapped up nicely with a shy and mishievious smile, just like his music: melancholy and sweet at the same time.
