Wonderful. This song is a powerful one, even outside of the context of The Snowman. This is the type of song that stops you in your tracks when you first hear it. I've loved this for years, and I was 19 when the movie came out -- probably 24 or 25 when I saw it for the first time. Cool. Nice playing. Native Steinway. Gotta love it. : ]

I used to watch this all the time when I was little. Just watched the movie with my son for the first time and cried my eyes out. Can't believe I get to share this with my beautful boy, I hope it will create the same lovely memories for him as it did for me!

@iMazed Brings back memories for me, too. 'The Snowman' was a true work of art. This song has captivated me since I first heard it in the movie, sometime in the late 80's. Hauntingly beautiful. Melancholy. I think of this fairly often. Funny how music can have such an effect on us. This makes me think of putting up Christmas decorations in the snow, in the dark. Thanks for letting me bore you with that. Enjoy this over and over with your son. It has an timeless quality about it. : ]
