James Newton Howard did a great job on the theme to ER, but I still like St. Elsewhere, but ER was @ its best when they had Anthony Edwards, George Clooney, Gloria Reuben, Eriq La Salle and Julianna Margulies, but when they all left ER, the show went downhill for me and I gave up on it, but TNT is still showing ER

and also, this version of ER came out when Warner Bros. Television still had Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step, Sisters, Living Single, Friends and Hangin' w/Mr. Cooper

@kylereel Same here! We watched nearly every episode together. Even the last episode...after the show ended...I was like, "WHOA. I've been watching this show since I was in diapers." Sad the show came to an end... :'(

Good music, fair series, but it can't touch St. Elsewhere. The scenes in the rooms were too well choreographed and it removed too much of the spontaneity of the real ER experience. I spent more time in ER's than you can imagine and it never went the way the show made you think it did. Like everybody knows exactly what to say and never interupts each other when saying it and everything just went too well. Still a good show.

You've got to love this. One of the all time great TV Shows, with one of the all time great theme songs. Absolutely love this. My favorite character is Abby, she is brilliant. And Neels is a babe as well. I will definitely have to one day start from episode 1, but for now I'm up to season 12 and will watch until the end, then start from the very start.
