  • This little girl made me cry! It was so beautiful! She's so amazing!

  • it must be so heart warming for ellen to have grown up with strong hate against homosexuality, to now having a little girl preparing a song for her wedding :)

  • She ran into it. Hahaha cute!

  • This little girl gave Ellen a wonderful song about a love wish come true without any prejudice about Ellen's partner ...... I wish all humans would respect and encourage the simple and essential love wish of others.

  • an amazing girl with an amazing talent and a beautiful soul...

  • What a beautiful girl, with a beautiful character and a beautiful talent...

  • It must've been so painful huh???

    Mmm mmm LMFAOO

  • I'm so happy for her and I'm so glad that she has written all of the songs that she has written!!! I love Once Upon A Wish!!!

  • for the things she did and said for ellen, she is such a cool kid.

  • I met the Jonas Brother's and the President! So cute!

  • @AdrianStarton The first song is the Mozart Concerto that she memorized. The 2nd song was for Ellen called "Once Upon A Wish"

  • "i met the Jonas brothers and the president" awwwwwwwwwwwww hahahaaaaaa cute! OHHHHH i got tears when she played that song for ellen =(

  • "i met the Jonas brothers and the president" awwwwwwwwwwwww hahahaaaaaa cute!

  • Out of the mouths of babes! Beautiful and Innocent

  • Anyone know the key of this? Is it C major?

  • @bobsyouruncle666 The Mozart fragment is in A major (key signature of C, G, and F sharps) and "Once Upon a Wish" is in the key of A minor (no sharps or flats).

  • I love Emily Shes so sweet it makes me cry!!

  • aww, shes so cute and so so so amazingly talented.

  • I was close to tears by the end of this video. She's so innocent, her music is so perfect, and she's so sweet. If I were in Ellen's position, I wouldn't even know how to react to such a, I don't even know how to describe it. She's a genius in the making.

  • Wow..amazing!

  • @emiily1994 of course! That's the only reason!

  • kid's fingers are gonna burn off in the atmosphere!!!!

  • That is adorable!!!

  • @katjamomcilov00 She has written her own songs, she had memorized pieces that take over 45 minutes to play and I saw her at Ellen for the first time when she was 6 and she is a prodigy. She is a good person. Wrote a song to Ellen called "Once Upon A Wish" because Ellen finally got her wish, her wife Portia.

  • @katjamomcilov00 Your partially right but she was born with some talent that didn't come from practicing, like being able to compose muxic at the age of 3 and being able to play a C scale without being taught at the age of 2. She is a musical genious :)

  • @katjamomcilov00 - I do not know why so many admire her? and every child to be where the grandmother and teacher of music .. it is only practiced diligently and nothing more!

So many love her because she is an adorable little girl with huge god given talent. You could take millions of kids, strap them into a piano stool 24/7 and they still would not come close to what Emily has. She was born to do this, and its obvious she has a deep love for music that is matched only be her talent.

  • I think that they should just only do classical and just delete all rock, jazz, pop, etc! Emily Bear is my best friend that I've never met. (It feels like I know her though!)

  • I love listening to Emily play the piano

  • Wow! She is brilliant, a genius. I love all her songs very much indeed.

  • I'm crying, this girl is an angel ... Kisses and hugs from Barcelona, Catalunya

  • WOW! mozart's descendent!

  • She's awesome

  • She's awesome

  • This would make Mozart cry

  • she is so awesome!!

  • ...wow...

  • ive heard of Steinway schools but not Steinway kids

  • It amazes me that such a young child seems to know so much about love and express it through music in that song she played for Ellen. It's like she's completely mature in her understand of and ability to express emotion through music and yet she's still a lovely little girl in every other way.

  • when she is playing she looks so much older than she actually is, her talent is beyond anything.

  • shes really talented.. i really loves all her songs.. =')

  • Go to her website for sheet music, CD's, Event Schedule etc. emilybear com

  • i want the sheets of her songs xD

  • ive ran into 2 glass doors! :D

  • she just made me cry... i dunno tears of happiness or sadness .. the emotion she invokes is quite strong ...

.. and ima dude... go strong Emily

  • I would buy this little girl's manuscripts and just play them all day. Her pieces are right up my alley.

  • I'm 23... I play the guitar since i was 14..... and i suck!

She's almost 4 times younger.... she plays a much harder instrument.... and wrote 126 songs...

  • o..m..g... that was such a sweet thing for her to do for ellen. i nearly started crying. i don't know how ellen held it in.

  • u can see on ellens face at the ending that she wished she was her daughter

  • The end was so sweet... I don't know if that was planned or not... didn't look like it. Ellen was speechless and overwhelmed it seemed. I would be too. What a sweet girl!

  • emily you are awesome i`m 9 and you play so much better that me! Just beautiful u r. wonderfull done emily wonderful! you r better than my music teacher at school

  • wow what a wonderful artist

  • "A very, very clean glass door!" She's adorable and an absolutely skilled musician. You have to give credit to her parents and teachers for helping raise her with such a good head on her shoulders, too. Best wishes from Canada, Emily!

  • 3:13 and 4:27 =)

  • oh man ... i love this piano play by her pure heart !

  • at least she sees that Bush is more exciting then the jonas brother's..

  • @varialniloo bush is a dick

  • haha lol very clean glass door

  • a very VERY clean glass door. ;)

  • amazing kid. ellen would be a great mother.

  • Yay Emily, my musical idol!

  • how gifted. wow!!

    brought tears to my eyes

  • "Every good and perfect Gift comes from the Lord GOD Almighty"...... Holy Bible

  • wen she finished ellen's song it looked like ellen as crying lol so sweet

  • A prodigy and also very down to earth person. Rare combonation, usually those prodigies tend to be eccentric but not emily, she's has great humility.

  • ohhh that was cute!!!

  • In the 1970s I moved into a new neighborhood & became best friends with a kid up the block. He started playing piano at the age of 3 (& composing not too long after). By the time I had moved in, he'd been playing for about 4 years. He could play it all, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, you name it. Everytime I went over to his house to play, he would interrupt our playing with his piano practice. Once he offered to teach me to play, but like an idiot I turned him down. Today he plays all over the world.

  • I can't EVER imagine seeing Emily cry! I'm glad she's ok though. :) Her music is beautiful and inspiring.

  • she is so fricken good!

  • Ellen totally wanted to tear up

  • I love her too, shes talented, beautiful, cheerful, happy and kind. She would definitly make ur day

  • im trying to play "Ellen's Song" by emily

  • to me she's the most talented young little girl, with a heart inspired to the most beautiful music of piano, every time i log in i always play her music, it's so touchy, and so loving she has a heart of an angel, you are so sweet Emily.

  • ellen was just about to steal her from her parents... at the end, when she said, "i love you"

  • omg this girl is so sweet.... I cried when she said "I wrote for you, because you got your wish"... I can't wait until her music matures... years and years of beautiful music will come of it. I won't compare her to anyone. She is her own person, she has her own talents, her own gifts.

Magnificent work. This shows what the human brain is capable of.

  • @BrooklynGangsta4865 Ellen got her wish? really? was getting married rlly her biggest wish?

  • she is amazing. i have been playing piano for 2 years. and i am now 14 years old and no where NEAR as good as she is. she really is a musical prodigy with an angels heart. comment and tell me what your take on her is.

  • that was truly beautiful. such an amazing girl.

  • That song Emily composed and played for Ellen was truly beautiful...I cried like a baby because it was so moving. Excellent job kiddo!!!

  • for those who want to know. Her song starts at 4:27. :)

  • I heard they compare her to being the next mozart, truly amazing

  • She is not forced omg retarded

  • How touching and sweet of her to write a song for Ellen and Portias wedding. "Because you got your wish!!!" Wish more people in this world hat hearts like hers.

  • Incredible music from such a young child. Truely a prodigy.

  • She's so talented. Her music reminds me of Ludovico Einaudi.

    So much talent.

  • EMILY BEAR MUSICAL GODDESS!!!!!!

  • shes like 7 or 8

  • yeah.. there's some hope..

    she inspired me..

  • that song she wrote..really made me feels like crying..so beautiful..when i was 6, i was so busy....playing with friends n don't even know what piano is.. XP i really love emily bear..wonderful prodigy..n so adorable too X)

  • when i was 6, i was sleeping all day!

  • Lol.

  • speechless

  • the song was so mature, then she got up and showed ellen her teeth coming in! ugh so freaking cute

  • yeahhh !!! she conserve the innocence of the age

  • other than here music here cute face bringing peace to my heart ...

  • Could anyone tell me wich Mozart's concerto is this? im can not recall, there are 1000000 of pieces ! Thanks ! =)

  • Mozart #43; and she memorized the 49 pages. Pretty awesome; she just started training at 4 yrs old.

  • damn, this girl is super great...

  • she is the next mozart

  • its so relieving to see such a child in such a world full of hate, wars and other things...

at least there is some hope.

  • There's a video on youtube from a local tv station. The music just came from her. Her grandmother who is a piano teacher was watching her; heard someone playing the piano; looked thinking it was the eldest child and it was Emily, who was 2!

  • como se llama la primera melodia que toca

  • es una pequeña parte de un concierto de Mozart

  • Haay muchisimos conciertos de mozart

  • Es como Natasha Binder

  • once apon a wish made me cry...XD

  • same, got tears in my eyes! :'( really nice!

  • lol ''probably the president''

  • If she really compose her own songs - and there is no reason for me not to believe it - I would love to see her soundtracks for movies about children (not necessarily child movies though).

Her music is so compassionate and emotional.

And how cute is she, when she huggles again Ellen in the end? ^^

  • Emily's dream is to write music for films!

  • Oh, ok, I didn't know that ^^

I only read or heard, that she likes to be a composer.

(Which is in a cute funny way ridiculous, because she already is ;-) ^^)

I also read, that she already had composed something for a TV show, when I'm not mistaken.

    Incredible!

And I think it's great, that she really seems to love what she does, and isn't pushed in that direction.

  • my gooooooood

  • aww Once Upon A Wish is SUCH a beautiful song!! i want a song just for me now xD

  • Simply incredible! I can only imagine the history that will be written by this amazing talent.

  • okay i cried... shes so cuuuute... wish i startd playing at dat age...

  • if you watch her segment on WGN, they interview her mother and grandmother. Neither of them seemed at all pushy or gloated that their daughter/grandchild was a prodigy - they even banned that word from the house. They just want her to be happy, and she definitely seems to be a mature and very well adjusted kid who just has a natural gift and joy in music.

  • Exactly right!

  • I really do believe that she composed her music. They are genuinely her own creation

  • She's effing amazing...

    she's pure talent.... by heart...

I love her piece... touching... x3

    Emily rocks... :3

  • I doubt very much that you can "force" a six year old to compose music! Sure, you may be able to push a kid to play, but certainly not to compose like that!

  • man theres a lot ppl here that think the parents are making all the decisions... its like nobody considers that emily might actually love doing what she does and that shes choosing to make these performances.

  • I don't think you can compose music like that and not love it.

I really loved the song written for the wedding - it hard accept she actually composed it. I wish she will continue to compose music even when she grows up - life can be hard but hopefully music will help her get through it.

  • What an amazing little girl...

  • I am sure that you are basing your opinion of fact and that you know Emily and her family personally and have been in their home before you make such a negative - and incorrect - accusation.

  • no i'm not, i hope she enjoys what she is doing, because i think it's horrible when parents try to push something on you

  • that's untrue, i've been playing the piano since i was 7 and i'm 13 now and still love it. it's hard work and sometimes gets frustrating but it's NOT IMPOSSIBLE to love playing the piano as a little girl.

  • that makes me wanna cry... that is so sweat

  • she's really good!!

    her music "moves the soul"

  • DAMN SHE IS GOOD

  • That was soooo fun! I meet the Jonas Brothers and the President xDDD! What a cute child..

  • My teeth are coming in, I am so excited! Oh and by the way I can play the piano! I love it beyond belief!

  • She is such a lovely child, and so talented

  • "I think I liked meeting the president more."

Hahahah that was a lie lol

  • This is just so pure.

You feel happy just watching her and listening to her music. ^^

  • i had some tears in my eyes because this girl is so amazing and she wrote this song for ellen and portia. what an amazing girl.

  • What a sweet girl to have written this for Ellen and Portia.

  • so sweet! i teared up as she spoke to ellen about the song she wrote <3

    what an amazing little girl!

  • how....how duz she do this? these pieces r amazing, and thoughtful and unbelivably complicated by the looks of it. U go emily!!

  • wow.. connie talbot should sing something with her playing the piano

  • I have to say, Emily can put almost any musician to shame. The Jonas Brothers must have been INTIMIDATED! haha. I know I would be! She is just amazing!

  • On one of the shows, Emily's mom said all she wishes is that she is happy and has good values. Well, she sure is a sweet girl on top of being a prodigy.

  • aww thats so cute hosw shes like i wrote it coz u got ur wish

    hehe

    ellen looks so touched :)

  • a real child prodigy...emily bear amadeus wolfgang? :D

  • Emilydeus Bear

  • wow...she is amazing. so sweet....

  • lots of young children watch emily's videos and read the comments - come on people... think of the kids.

  • dude I so want your username

    haha

  • you said fuck!! ohh God!

  • If your old enough to be on here your old enough to know your a fucking pedifile and you should know better. Thats fucking gross.

  • Made me tear up, too. Absolutely brilliant.

  • As a DMA in Piano degree holder, I know that K. 488 piece...that was the development section of the 1st movement of that Mozart Piano Concerto, no. 23, in A minor....near the end of the development section. 8 measures of it. How can she do it? If Mozart can do it as a musical genius, Emily can definitely do it too!!!!!!

  • aww shes so sweet :) she made everyone cry

  • I love how both of her songs for Ellen ended in a broken chord in the highest octive.

  • her parents must be the proudest people on earth to have such talent! (and i hope her siblings are not so jealous). It's like she breathes music!

  • oh god, she is so sweet.

  • omg i love hearing her play. i like watching her hands it looks like they are dancing across the keys. absolutly amazing.

  • I cried so hard when I first saw that, you can tell how much that meant to Ellen. That little girl is an amazing human being.

  • she is NOT from this planet. She must be from heaven :)

  • So much love and maturity, and she isn't even ten yet. A true genius and prodigy, and one of the most beautiful souls on the planet.
