@MJDubius42 Yes, But then he goes and saves her when he was ordered to kill her and then after he went in the Gate to get the meteor core Yin checked up on him and he thanked her for that. Then there was that whole doll arc where Hei considers Yin an important person and he trusts he to lead them to the Doll and Yakuza guy and lead him to Amber at the end of the season.

Hei pulled his hand away because it reminded him of Havok who just died.

I don't think she is dead. Hei wouldn't kill her. He does love her. Hei's power can alter things at the molecular level so many to most people think he took 'Izanami' out of Yin. A big clue that Yin isn't dead is that the prophecy was fulfilled. What is the point of killing Yin if the prophecy still comes true?

Please watch the OVAs and you see that you are wrong. I had doubts but still believed, but the OVA shows that they both love each other. Also watch season 2 you will see the Hei love Yin because he does things over the loss of Yin that he didn't do for Bai.

OK. Here's how it is. Izanami was never Yin, it was Yin's surveillance specter coming to life and taking on a form of it's own. Hei's wish was that he could kill Izanami, not yin, that's why he stopped Suo from shooting her earlier. At the end he tells Yin, "we need to end this" and the two of them agree to destroy that part of her that was Izanami

Short answer: anything's possible in the gate, if yin is dead, the writers suck!

Yes there will be 4 OVA episodes. They are about Hei and Yin between Season 1 and 2. The OVA episodes will be on DVDs 2,4,6 and 8.
