what are white bass i know what stripers are i go fishing for them and i hate when people get all freakin technical just go fish there called bass call em bass dammit
Well, i was just responding to ur comment before saying largemouth and such as ture bass. White bass are basically like small stripers that go in big schools.
it´s one the most tasteful fishes, in fact, they´re famous for his meat and very coveted. But, this is such a majestic fish , is worth more alive that dead. Here in Venezuela, you can find them in various dams, as in Cinaruco and Capanaparo River, and we call them "Pavòn". Brazil also has enormous peacocks and they call them "Tucunaré"
temos que lutar para que esses exemplares e esses lugares exuberantes nunca acabem,as geraçoes que estao por vir tem o direito de desfrutar destas maravilhas como nos o fazesmos agora!
They introduced them into miami dade and broward county canles and lakes but its hard for them to stay at high numbers due to when they spawn they are very aggersive they will hit bare hooks and they make there nest in shallow banks so they are easy to spot
biggest peacock i caught was 16lbs but thats not big for peacock biggest bass I caught was 14lbs I raised 14 peacock and put them out in my lake hopefully theyll take to it
I have them in my backyard basically here in Miami, FL. Not the GIANT species but in the 5lb and over range. My personal best here is 20 inch about 6-7 lbs. Love those Peacock Bass.
for peacockbass lures meesage me an i will tell you the best but some if them are Rapala Original Floating,Rapala Skitter Pop and Rattlin' Rapala all in firetiger for more just message me about anyfish.
what would you recommend for small stream trout. i tryd panther martins and other small spinners but i dont know how to use them, its about 1-3.5 ft deep in most spots.
Brasil the best ... so no Brasil que tem os melhores peixes para pescar , pq aqui na America os peixe sao uma porcaria . muita saudade do meu braza...
Dave, I watched your vid where you were fishing Table Rock (about 50 mi from here) and, out of curiosity, clicked on this peacock bass one....wow; breathtaking! I've heard these type of bass are in some lakes in Mexico. Would they survive if stocked in the U.S? Beautiful fish....WinkieDoodles
Peacock bass are so easy to catch, they pretty much hit anything during spawing season, i have caught peacock bass with just a plane shinny hook befor.
what i am wondering is are these the hardest fighting freshwater bass out there that you can catch even better than smallmouths and stripers or just stronger??? i know this is a dumb question but just curious
Come to Hawaii to try your luck with these babies at Lake Wilson in Wahiawa, on the Island of Oahu (They're also stocked in several of the other Hawaiian Islands resevoirs. They may not be quite as big here but pound for pound are just as scrappy!!!
Hi all ... I live in Brazil where most of Amazon is located and I can tell, there exotic fishes are very common here. Peacock bass , Red tail catfish , discus and etc are very common and cheap here.
