You become the characters you play! I am VERY jealous because, I had the lead in my high school senior play & wanted to become another Helen Hayes! Instead, I chose (with the push of my parents), the path into the field of science. I have loved my work, but always wonder "what if"????I was recently honored by the Federal Govt (one of only 30 in the world for being a trailblazer in my field, so I guess I chose the right path. Srill , I probably would have loved acting as well!
