The very first time I saw Family Guy (hadn't even heard of the show), I immediately thought "that's Rex Harrison in My Fair Lady!!". I think it's more than just Stewie's voice that is based on him, but also...this song has certain homesexual undertone at times (not that the character was gay), the same thing we see with Stewie...you wonder sometimes if that's what's being suggested. Love the movie

This is actually quite true, I'd say, based on my personal experiences. Most all women are doomed to female irrationality because most of them are prone to the emotional rollercoaster provided to them by their biology, but there are still some great, strong, RATIONAL women out there. This song is supposed to be funny. It's not supposed to be analyzed to death. Of course, Henry Higgins was sexist, but that's the entire point. Eliza Doolittle quickly outgrows the role of guinea pig in his, "Pygmalionistic" experiment, and becomes a lady who gets to dance with a prince, regardless of Mr. Higgins' sexism. The irony is that once she starts to rub shoulders with royalty, her old friends no longer recognize her, and she cannot return to her comfortable former life.
