thats something to see. Scotland huh? thank god for youtube, haha, otherwise i would never know about it.
one thing id like to be able to do before i retire is, to be able to buy a home some where in western Europe. What better place then Europe to traval and sight see over 5000 years of history? In America, its mostly geographic sights to see. In Europe is everything i want to see. I wouldnt know where to start.
Germany is a good place to start. I was working over there a few years back, travelling all over Europe in a van. I remember one sunny summer morning in Southern Germany, after sleeping in the van, pulling off the autobahn and going into a small village bakery as the village woke up - cakes and bread and a rosy-cheeked frau behind the counter. I could live in a place like that.

No - sorry!

It looks eerie when the wicker man is burning.

I loved the book, and of course the movie is a classic, I check the DVD out of the public library here maybe once a year.
We have Burning Man here in Nevada usually in August but it's way too expensive for hippies like me to afford. }:-}

I'm Scottish.
When I was a boy I read a series of books about Leif Ericson. Great stuff.

Back again- Such a good video. :-)
I have to say how much this bit of music reminds me of debussy.
It's silly.
It's so "nauges" and " clair de lune"
I've not been exposed to much john cage but it seems very debussy inspired.
Anyhow- Your video is still by far the best burn video of this year's burn.
Thx so much.
Luv and peace - see you next year.#

Thanks a lot, mate. It's appreciated.
It is a beautiful piece of music - it's the only John Cage stuff that I know, too. I think William Orbit did a dance version.

Have a look at 0:34 (ish) There is a definite Godess avatar in him this year. Looks like a slightly sad cat face. On his chest.
I noticed it at the festival but wasn't sure it wasn't just a bit of aberrant night after perception.
Now I'm sure.
All hail the goddess.
Great work by the wicker makers.
Much respect and many thanks again.
luv.

Yes, I see what you mean. Never noticed that. Do you think it was intentional, or just a mother-teresa-in-a-bun type of thing?
I agree - great work from the wicker-folk.

He is gone, but his memory lives on. You can see in the vid how many pics and videos were taken of him in his glory.
