for me as a Muslim A mosque is a sacred place for us where we gather collectively to offer prayers to the God..

when we finish praying we just go and finish or work like going for shopping or to the school ect ect....

it's that simple

groovsmyth, I went to high school with alot of muslims, and they're normal human beings who just want to be like all other Americans, and they are not advocating terrorism or hatred towards America in anyway. Every conservative ignoramous should take the time learn about Islam realize its not about terrorism. Why are conservatives so intolerant and terrified of diversity and change?

The dorky conservatives are stereotypical islamophobes trying to deny the justice that all humans have as a birth right. I don't understand the whole frenzy to derail the establishment of the mosque. Its not on ground zero, its down the street. Islam is not about terrorism like the right wing media wants us to believe.

@takingdaggers I don't believe the muslims really care if there is a mosque there or not, it is mostly just to aggravate us...no matter what we do, we will be fodder for their hate machine.  When we were in Africa, a muslim lady said that the song that was playing was her favorite hymn; when asked what it meant, she said she didn't know , just that she liked it. This is the way it is with most muslims, but the extremists paint the rest with the same paintbrush. I am NOT in favor of the mosque!

if there is so many against it.. then why dont you make the "nessary step's" to stop this attrosity from happening....
