i am happy driving my Ford F 150. Tesla can go to hell. It does not have the power of reaching the common man like the big 3 have.

imagine the cost of charging up 500 laptop computers every day

the one star they get is for bunging 40 thousand dollars worth of batteries into a light weight and attractive car
THESE BATTERIES WILL ONLY LAST FOR 2 YEARS AT MOST UNDER THE HEAVY LOAD OF DAILY DRIVING ( just ask any radio control car racer how many seasons his packs last...and the model car guys use better batteries
the cost of replacing the batteries is 40k divided by 2
FOR THOSE TO DUMB TO DO THE MATH THATS 20K A YEARS JUST TO REPLACE THE FAILING BATTERIES

1) the tesla roadster is a forerunner, not a car everyone in the world has to buy. it's a facilitator of change and it has done great
2) the batteries cost around 20k$
3) they will last much longer than 2 years
4) batteries will become radically cheaper in the future
5) batteries will last the lifetime of the car in the future and wont have to be replaced
6) cars will become lighter in the future and will need fewer batteries

How can you justify investing 500 million dollars over several years in a company that has produced less than 500 cars
