I'm reading The Luxe at the moment, it's really good so far. How did you get an advanced reader copy of it? I love the Princess Diaries, I have that edition too! It's waaaay better than the new PD covers... I can't wait till the tenth book (Mia + J.P forever!!). I love Maureen Johnson, I order her books off Amazon cos I live in the UK. I just read Girl At Sea (which was amazing) and I really want to read Suite Scarlett! xx
I absolutely agree ..Sophia Copola's Marie Antoinette is so visually stunning it makes up for other lacking elements. I'd love to see Versailles in person someday.
Have you read any of Twilight yet? I bought it when they were talking about it on Pottercast, & just have devoured it in the last 9 hours. I'm a few chapters from done and your videos always make for a good distraction. Honestly, I'm not a romance book sort of girl, but the whole vampire thing makes it more compelling.
You wanted to read 7 books in one week?! I don't think I have read that many in my life! Thats sad isn't it? Maybe I should keep that to myself. : / Books rule! Thats better. : )
hahahaha I love how men (which I am one of) find boobies or a part of the anatomy worth talking about!! It's kinda like saying "corr!!! look at that arm!!!" hahaha peace xx
Mystery: You ought to read Stranger with my Face by Louise Duncan ( I'm not entirely sure of the spelling) but it is very exciting. I wouldn't call it literature, but intriguing and fascinating. Pseudo-philosophy even. Read it!
I was obsessed with Nancy Drew, too. And then that kind of led into my obsession with the Mrs. Murphy murder mystery series by Rita Mae Brown. I really liked them, but they did make me slightly paranoid, haha.
i cried so hard through that whole book. the last few chapters, i could barely read i was crying so hard. but i mean...its amazing.
i just saw something this weekend about it being made into a movie. i kinda would want to see it, but i dont want to be bawling my eyes out at the theater! crying in public isnt fun...
Quick question, do you read any SF? Just out of interest as it is my prefered genre, that and you like Dr Who so I was wondering if you broadened into any other SF worlds.
Completely enjoyed your new video. I've just ordered And Then There Were None from the library, so yay!
I love Versailles (in pictures). I've never been. My art teacher doesn't share this view; she hates Rococo. I also think Marie Antoinette, while not the best film, is so beautiful. The cinematography was great. I loved all the pastels.
Have you seen Saturday's episode of Doctor Who yet???
How is it possible to hate Rococo? I love it completely. I want my bedroom to have a Rococo makeover. Personally I loved the endless amount of cake and champagne, and as you say, the pastels. Whenever I think of the film, the pink and blues immediately jump to mind.
I have indeed but haven't had time to make the TARDIStacular video. It should be up tomorrow.
She hates it because she thinks it's all too ornate. She says the people who ordered the construction of the Rococo buildings were too inconsiderate about the poverty that was outside their walls. It's like the Daleks in Manhattan episode when Solomon from Hooverville comments on how there's money to build the Empire State Building but not to feed mouths.
I think you should read The murder (or making - depending on what version you get..) of Bindy Mackensie by Jaclyn Moriarty. I think you would enjoy it. x
Oh wait, is that the woman who wrote Feeling Sorry For Celia and Finding Cassie Crazy? I loved those books. I really want to read The Year of Secret Assignments too. I'll add the UK title of "Becoming Bindie Mackenzie" to my toread list!
I wrote a comment about the Suite Life; it doesn't seem to have posted so I will recreate it with more enthusiasm.
HELLLLLLLL YES. SUITE LIFE. YOU ARE THE BEST PERSON FOR MENTIONING IT.
I like you more than before, which was a considerable amount, believe me. (I still don't quite LOVE love you yet, but will do once our trip to London day is fulfilled).
I lie, I do love you. Thank you for mentioning the Suite Life.
(Though Chester has an opponent now! WILLIAM MILLER FROM THE BBC OLIVER TWIST. HE IS SO INSANELY ADORABLE. Though I do not LOVE him, I just squeal at his baby face).
Hey! your videos are so interesting, WOW, How can you do to read A LOT? :P Congrats!!!! Books, stories, and cool covers, yeah! Keep doing that great sharings, Thanks. Take care and have a EXCELLENT day, Rosianna.
I love your book reviews/discussions--we seem to have a lot of the same tastes. I really want to read Maureen Johnsons new book, and I was in love with Nancy Drew books in middle school, which prompted me to start playing the Nancy Drew cpu games. Anywho, have fun with the future reads.
Yes I've heard that she's absolutely wonderful. I do a combination of buying them second hand in charity shops for about 50p to £2 or borrowing them from libraries!
You should attend political meetings and gatherings. There are always raffles and the prizes are good. I won a copy of Stanley and the Abolition of Britain last week at a conservative and unionist meeting. Stanley looks pretty good. It's the story of Africa's greatest explorer.
Hello faithful video maker, interesting choices of T-shirts sadly it seems America still gets the funniest t shirts around, like on bustedtees . com aswell. I am sorry to hear your in some sort of pain.

If when you take Kayley around the UK you happen or want to stop off at York the previous capital city then i'd be more than happy to show some of the few sights we have if you are interested.
Yeah it is a nice enough place with some Minster cathedral and some museums and old little quaint streets and such, and a fly seems to have an unusual taste for humping the top of my monitor very interesting indeed. Ha five minutes later he is still here, madness.
