i don't have a full band version, i just have the piano---i wanted to find this exact version of the song in the video---i used to have the billy corgan, linda perry and courtney love live version they played at the gay and lesbian festival in la but then my computer crash---the quality of the mp3 wasn't that good but you can tell it was a killer performance her voice and the guitars where a haunting whirlwind

i completely agree! You can hear Courtney's authentic voice in her lyrics... I mean, she kinda writes the way she talks, there's no faking that. The high quality of her lyrics have remained consistent even after Kurt's death. There's no denying that he was her muse (and vice versa), and she did use lines, chords, melodies from Kurt, but she always managed to make it her own, which is what really counts. All art is imitation.

You put this brilliantly I can't agree with what you said about Courtney writing the way she talks. Plus anyone who is a true Nirvana fan knows that Kurt and Courtney during the In Utero-Live Through This era shared a journal where there wrote lyrics and poems together. Courtney helped penn "pennyroyal tea" and "heart-shaped box" and In Utero was something Kurt stole from Courtney..."In Utero" was the title of a poem Courtney wrote

I like this alot better than the other version i think the lyrics r better and i didnt like that the other version had no guitars & was completely piano driven (i dont think CLove has a piano voice)
