  • I'm just an idiot with this phone s--t. I'm glad that there's so many talented players out there to learn from. I was a Page fan for the better part of 25 years and I'm glad I was. Others came along and I glad for that too

  • Everyone has there favorite and all of them has or had something to offer. I'm just g

  • 0:27 joe's hair!!

  • he should grow some folicles before he starts shedding

  • Im still pretty sure he is lord Voldermort

  • @587art That would explain alot. He uses dark magic to be so damn good on the guitar! He steels the souls of muggles and adds their energy to his musical abilities.

  • An amazing sound both now & down through time... THANKS to Gleuethunder for the send!

  • Sounds like Satchtana.

  • Some remarks I don't understand, I guess those people are living in a cuntstant struggle with life expecting enemy's behind every tree. I do like things from many great guitarists. But if I don't like something I just say so but therefore those musicians aren't boring or bad.

It's not importamt how many notes you can push in one measure, it's about music played with emotion, with feeling and expression from measure one till all fine.

I'm just a fan of great guitarists.

  • @Timemakesmusic Thank you, and PEACE. Well said. Satch is an exception to music, so majestic, mature, intellectual, precise. Long live my "King."

  • this solo takes me to another dimension.just awesome

  • I think he might be an Alien.... have you noticed that all these years he didn't age??? i mean he was teaching legends that are now old :D

  • Boring... viva Yngwie Malmsteen!!

  • @rdx123654123 This man have something that Malmsteen don't have and is Feeling, Guitarists like Santana, Satriani, Petrucci, have the magic touch, is not only speed my friend.

  • Even by Joe's standard, i find this truly amazing! The tone, phrasing, feel, and overall thing is just astounding! I wish it were longer though, lol!

  • God in the earth...

  • Nice to hear and feel a heart felt Creation, with all their heart and effort. made me think how it made me feel. if YOU were to put the same level of sincerity into telling loved ones & friends where each others feelings were deeply hurt, and with a real intent with love in your heart, say you were sorry, and not only ment it, but express a sincere graditude to each other, and rectified the relationship, that is music to the soul & worth listening to. thanks Joe my old friend (1989)

  • The True Jedi Master.....

  • at 3.40 he looks like Santana.

  • Randomly came across this. The guy's talents are unquestionable, but for some reason I just find his writing and style boring. It just does nothing for me at all. Not really sure why. Maybe I have no soul.

  • @WestBuiltAMountain

Joe's writing style isn't really "unique/refreshing" so much that it is rigidly structured. Not that it is a bad thing but most of his songs seem to be built around a kind of verse verse chorus formula that gets predictable after a few listens so yeah, this isn't really surprising. It's nice to hop between artists once in a while. I'd suggest some PoT from Shawn to some of Di Meola's work or even Pat Metheny for a little variation. That should help out a bit imo

  • @tastytasters I don't know why everyone falls down at this guy's feet. He never surprises me.Dear Metallica,

I am looking for a man (or men) older than me who would want to be with a straight-acting man who feels like a woman around older men. I have never been with a man before, but it is my secret desire to be with a man (or men) who would be naked with me as if I was their girl, who would be so horny to fuck me or have me suck them. I'm white, thin, and have sh

  • satch the silver surfer what a feeling thx for share a bit of your soul it fills my dreams

  • Joe and Petrucci are the best ever

  • beginning=eargasm

  • the beggining actually sounds very Santana like....

  • The master stay the master and the student stay the student but it may change a day..°°°°°°°°)))

  • 1:20 Voldemort!

  • @jossi95

    LOL!

  • free... ok

    free... ok

    free... ok

how bout throwin in a free guitar instead?

  • @brainremoval1 millionaires cant afford to give out free stuff xD

  • "Joe listen through to the backing track just once and then plugged in a we recorded it in ONE TAKE!" I could listen to the back track and think about it a million time, that could never be this wonderful.

  • It took one take because he thinks ahead of what he is playing and knows where to take his listener. A true master and classy guy.

  • I personally think it sounds like shit. Takes lots to make a world I suppose.

  • @orbisnonsufficit0805 Maybe the only shit is what is in your ears matey

  • @mike24221850 real mature mate.

  • @orbisnonsufficit0805 Dude... you must be mistaking us with somebody who gives a crap about your opinion. Get lost, persons like you should die for polluting the music world with Pop trans fags.

  • @VideoGamesArena I don't like pop.. You obviously give a crap cause your commenting. Nice assuming that I'm into pop but then being wrong.. I just said personally I'm not into this. What's your problem mate? go outside get a gf and cheer up please your making the world sad.

  • @VideoGamesArena Your pretty much a fucking asshole, dickface. The kid mearly stated HIS opinion. Go fucked yourself it you don't like it. Go fire up some Justin Beiber and get down...Jerkoff.

  • breathtaking stuff. Like someone said.. Satch's phrasing is just other-worldly. That subtle difference between a good guitar player and a motherfucking genius. Been an ardent fan of his guitar playing for most of my life and this is exactly the reason why. He might be technically un-touchable but he knows what note to play at what time.

  • I keep wondering....does he ever wear a T-shirt that's not black? ....i mean i see he wears jackets but underneath them is always a black T-shirt :P

  • didn't like satch all that much before. then I heard this solo. He's friggin' sick.

  • yeah really awesome!

  • Reminded me of "Rubina" live in San Francisco at the beginning...

  • A dream to be able to listen to his music. We are the lucky generation!

  • @obamaspolicies are you crazy!? this is the worst generation EVER !! how can you say we are lucky when justin bieber is on the top of the lists!! the 70's and the 80's were absolutely the best years!

  • @Cavalistik i aggree with that mate... but i also disagree!! your forgetting people have a choice to what they listen to! and when you do find the "right" music these days it fucking kicks ass!!

  • @Cavalistik

well define best...anyway, i think this generation deserves more optimism than it gets. This excellent, gorgeous music is heard by those who seek it, which are what one might call "the right people." sure most people don't hear this music that i and many of us would consider to be better than the majority of stuff out there but this music gets heard by those who will love it most.

  • Really nice tune, but as usual with Joe,it could have been so much better.

  • This is a man who had truly mastered his instrument! One of the greatest to ever pick up a guitar!

  • This is what I love about Satch; not only is he technically amazing, but he also takes the time to phrase his stuff so that it isn't just mindless shredding.

  • Great Joe....

  • soooo beautifull.awesome.joe rules

  • Amazing! there is nothing better in the world than when this guy touches a guitar and out comes such a beautiful melody , phrasing and emotion , just so perfect , ive never seen anything so amazing in my life !

    ROCK ON JOE

  • Eres el Amo del Universo......

  • Damn, what a Feeling. Great tone and phrasing. 5/5 !

  • Wow, love the phrasing !!

    it's typical satriani's tone....

  • Dreamy beautiful melody

  • Typical Satch, but hey if the record aint broke...

  • beautiful! I love the phrasing. its an awesome track

  • satriani is fantastic..

  • Thats amazing...Joe is the master of the guitar, surely, one the best

  • kick ass!!!!
