  • Man Cybermen like busting through plastic sheets.

  • soooo glad that my mom got me into doctor who :D

    best show ever!!

  • VNV and Doctor Who... It doesn't get any better than this!

  • If only pushing daleks from behind still worked...:(

  • Loved it! Thanks! Who.

  • TIP If using a DVD as source, de-interlace the footage for viewing online or on modern (not CRT) televisions... Gets rid of that horrible broken-line effect when the image moves too much. ;)

  • Awesome stuff!

  • At 6:14 is taht Sarah Jane the 6th Doctor's walking through the woods with? What episode is that?

  • @danielchance It's not Sarah Jane, that's Peri with the 6st Doctor in the Mysterious Planet, first story of Trial of a Timelord, though with her hair that way she does look a lot ike Sarah Jane :-)

  • i noticed that at 1:50 the 5th doctor is wearing braces, just like the 11th doctor does lol..i love it..also i must add that at 1:55 the 2nd and 3rd doctor's are wearing bowties just like the 11th does

  • @shirley34 Well they are the same man. Maybe the second and third doctors also thought that bow ties are cool but just never said it.

  • i noticed that at 1:50 the 5th doctor is wearing braces, just like the 11th doctor does lol..i love it

  • I love the giant hand that comes down at 4:29. The fingernails are really dirty.

  • OMG Brilliant! I can't believe I haven't seen this sooner. One day you should go back and fix the interlacing and aspect ratio, it would polish this so well. some trly gorgeous edits and transitions. And I love the song, it's perfect. So much fun I've watched it a couple of times and plan to again in a sec. Faved!

  • what was the eposode with the different doctors meeting eath other?

  • @SkellingtonGhost - "The Five Doctors". Creative name, eh? =) There are some clips from "The Three Doctors" too - like the one where the First calls 2 & 3 "a Dandy and a Clown". Too bad there's nothing from "The Two Doctors". Only bad thing about this vid is not enough 6 and 7.

  • that was just fab

  • I don't know why, but to me, the tenth Doctor looks and acts remarkably like the Second Doctor... It's strange, but it seems like that to me. Has anyone else noticed this?

  • @danielchance - yup, always did, with a dash of 5's boyish cham and 7's destructive wrath mixed in. 11 reminds me a lot of both the 1st and the 6th too. Kinda like what 6 was supposed to be had the Beeb not been trying to sabotage the series at the time. Love it. =)

  • yay u put the motorbike driving in to the TARDIS in lol

  • Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought that the Doctor Who tv movie was crap. It didn't even feel like Doctor Who to me.

  • this is brilliant :D

  • Well done! Thanks for sharing.

  • A rackety old Tardis--it's preposterous.

  • i love the docoter this is just great it brings back all of the memorys

  • trying hard to find this song....thanks to Tardisgirlfrance I know the title....the search continues....

  • Excellent video!!

  • what episode is 1:29 from? Are those armored guys villains?

  • It's from The 3 Doctors and those people are Timelords :)

  • @danielchance - "The Invasion of Time", and those are Chancellery Guards, Time Lord Soldiers who guard the President and the Council of Cardinals, as well as the inner workings of Gallifrey.

  • what episode is 1:29 from? Are those armored guys villains?

  • I'M THE DOCTOR

  • Excellent! Brilliant job!

  • Awesome video. I prefer the classic series to the new series, but i still like the new series. Tom Baker is my favourite Doctor with Peter Davison close behind. Love Doctor Who.

  • 6:15!!! Is that Elizabeth Sladen with the 6th. Did I miss something?

  • 1st Doctor : "If you could touch the alien sand and hear the cry of strange birds and watch them wheel in another sky, would that satisfy you?"

  • Good job!!! really enjoyed that!

  • To Those Who Are New To Dr. Who:

There is an entire universe of Dr. Who to watch. Amazon and Barnes & Noble now have an amazing and vast collection of episodes now on DVD from the so-called "Classic Series". Just try and remember that the effects are nowhere even close to what's in the present series.

Watch not for the opticals and caliber of production values but rather for the characters and story.

  • @scifisurfer

I love the Classic Series, my favorite is The 5th Doctor :D

  • I was first introduced to the show when David Tennet was on it. The episode with the angel statues that come closer when you blink. Then the guy before him. Never got a chance to see any of the others. Omg im so nervous about the new one. It' feels like we are meeting someone completly new and gotta love him all over again.

  • *COUGH* PATRICK TROUGHTON IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN DAVID TENNANT IT'S NOT FUNNY *COUGH* Sorry, had a bit of a cough there.

  • Oh my giddy aunt! but, while I prefer Tennant, I do agree Troughton was AMAZING

  • Troughton is one of my top five :D you just gotta love him. i have to say, Baker, Tennant and Troughton have got to be the best actors for the Doctor <3

  • LOL, I was probably downvoted by teenage girls who don't know who Patrick Troughton is.

  • @NyeTunes You my friend, are an utter legend :-)

  • @DoctorChibi740

My first Doctor Who episode was Rose from the 9 Doctor.

But now i already watched some episodes from the Classics and the 8 Doctor movie. Love them all. :D

  • wats the song ??

  • VNV Nation - solitary

  • A woman in the elevator with me yesterday heard my Tardis ringtone and said "Well that didn't sound healthy..."

I was so close to saying "TARDIS MATERIALIZING! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!!!"

    hahahah

  • than217

LOL, that was rly funny to read. :D

  • great video thank you

  • This is positively awesome! I am a total newb to the Whovian culture I just finished the new series and I hear Tom Baker is the next one to watch. Great job and thanks for the preview!

  • I watch this video just about every day. Thank you much for this brilliant vid! :D :D :D

  • Brilliant montage! Love the song too. Thanks for putting together some of the great memories of DW.

  • why does the inside of the tardis change

  • If you lived the same place for 900 years wouldn't YOU wanna re-decorate sometimes?

  • There are different control rooms in the TARDIS. Each Doctor seems to choose a particular one. They are explained as auxiliary control rooms. The TARDIS is a living organism AND a machine, which is a theme repeated through the series. The current Doctor (D.T) apparently has the best operational control room at the moment, because his TARDIS is dying.

  • Five and Ten also imply in Time Crash that you can change the theme of the TARDIS, sort of like a person can change the background wallpaper on a desktop or laptop. lol xP I think the Auxiliary Control Rooms are a better explanation but the desktop one is somehow more amusing.

  • If you don't like Doctor Who then why watch a tribute video to it?

  • @symbal777 Oh, stuff it moron. You don't like Doctor Who? Then shut up and don't watch videos about it. And quit your whining, you've probably never even watched the show anyway.

  • @symbal777

Then I'd like to see you make something better

  • "You don't understand. I'm not a human being. I walk in eternity" One of the greatest Dr. Who quotes ever. Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure this is the greatest Doctor Who tribute video I've ever seen...it's absolutely brilliant. :) Great job. Favorite, 5 stars, and I'm sharing this with all the people I know who don't know what Doctor Who is, so they can get a proper introduction to the series. :)

  • The Song is Solitary, from the album of the same name

  • wow this a great video , I Am sitting here and waiting , in 15 minuttes doctor who will return to danish screens again on bbc entertainment , cant wait

  • Yeah... but it's always so damn late... and they keep repeating the same series again... and again... and again...

  • Nicely done! :) Here's to the next 45 years! :)

  • Kudos to you, Tardisgirlfrance. Well put together! It's a great tribute to a great British icon. *big thumbs up*

  • Very good, cool video:)

  • Thanks for all the kind comments, I picked this song because it had a couple of good lines about the past being a beginning which I though fit the time travel idea well and the line 'If rain brings winds of change let it rain on us forever' fit the idea of regeneration as well (that's why I had the regeneration scenes coincide with it) and VNV Nation just has a great futuristic sound to it, so it's great for Sci Fi.

  • U got the right tone & base & mythical, mystical, mysterious music & feeling for a real great Dr Who tribute. Being a Dr Who fan for well wll my life. Ive seen some really good tributes & some really bad tributes. But thats okay there tributes 2 the greatest show ever. And this is one of the greatest tributes ive seen its in my top 5. I am the Doctor, I am thee timelord & I wish 2 b your friend timelady

  • @Tardisgirlfrance perfect song for doctor who, it sounds like it's based on the doctor who theme music.

  • Well done! To quote Doctor 9 -- "Fantastic!"

  • amazingggg video! The background music really worked with the clips. Go Doctor Whoooo! XD

  • Terrific compilation. All the Doctors were shown to good advantage, and even the background music seemed to somehow capture the feel for the series.

    Keep up the awesome work!

  • Whoohoo! That was great :) Doctor who ROCKS. The old series, the new series, just Doctor Who in general :D

  • Brilliant clip. Thank you. Yes happy birthday Doctor Who, one big brilliant show.

  • aWeSoMe ViDeo! Never heard this song before either, it rocks. You rock!
