He made mistakes that he regretted and spent the rest of his life trying to atone for those mistakes even loosing his own life in the process. That's kind of a big deal. Was he a nice man? He was not a perfect man, but a good and courageous man. His only real flaws were his grudges against James, Harry, Sirius (but like anybody who has been teased or bullied, he deserved to dislike the Maurauders) and especially his involvement with the Dark Arts.

The books don't really portray Snape as sexy; Severus becomes sexy when he is put inside Alan Rickman's body, with that famous Rickman swagger...Snape, in the books, was an extraordinary wizard, if you add up all his abilities...Good saga ending of courage, loyalty, love and a huge amount of redemption :)

Severus really got the short end of the stick. I feel horrible that Fred gets it as well, but everyone seems to be looking over the fact that he does as well, and why he does. Poor Severus. :*( I too have been a fan of his since book one. I knew there had to be a reason for him acting like a ponce through the series, especially after seeing the flashback of his childhood. @mileandmare Oh, it's an old Anime/ Manga that originated in the 60's, though most people are more familiar with the 2001 Anime series. 007 was a shape shifter who occasionally transformed into one of the enemy ranks to break his friends into a base. It's a goofy show but I think it's worth checking out.

I love this and it makes me feel sad for Snape. All he wanted to do was help Harry and defeat Voldemort and most people treated him as an outcase. It really is sad now that you think about it, he didn't even live to see a time of peace.

I really wish that I had found this song years ago, it is perfect for Severus and the distrust he faced from everyone. The most upsetting moments in HBP is when everyone in the Order instantly condemns Severus for murder, with no proof, no consideration for a larger plan. Especially McGonagall, she knew him for nearly 20 years but it counted for nothing in the end. Oh poor Severus such a heartbreaking story and such a heartbreaking video – it had me reaching for the tissues! It is amazing.

I love this it shows how the others feel about. I always hurt when I read about how he was treated. Severus is my fav character in the entire series :).....Not sure if most of you know about the MTV harry potter world cup but I really want Snape to wins since he's the best I hope a lot of you are major fans and go vote for him now if you can :D

@mileandmare Oh, it's an old Anime/ Manga that originated in the 60's, though most people are more familiar with the 2001 Anime series. 007 was a shape shifter who occasionally transformed into one of the enemy ranks to break his friends into a base. It's a goofy show but I think it's worth checking out.

I love this and it makes me feel sad for Snape. All he wanted to do was help Harry and defeat Voldemort and most people treated him as an outcase. It really is sad now that you think about it, he didn't even live to see a time of peace.

I really wish that I had found this song years ago, it is perfect for Severus and the distrust he faced from everyone. The most upsetting moments in HBP is when everyone in the Order instantly condemns Severus for murder, with no proof, no consideration for a larger plan. Especially McGonagall, she knew him for nearly 20 years but it counted for nothing in the end. Oh poor Severus such a heartbreaking story and such a heartbreaking video – it had me reaching for the tissues! It is amazing.

Brilliant Video, I personally never trusted him...however, when he killed dumbledore & That in the 2nd to last one it took me by surprize..After all of that time, protecting Harry & That..It took me by COMPLETE surprize..I still am a little weary, as I haven't seen the last movie yet, I am waiting for both parts to come out so Im not left hanging as I was with POTC 2. For all odf my love of Harry Potter and The Lion King I never would have thought of putting the two together, but now that it's been put before me, it seems strangely apt. Well made video. I almost imagine it has his conscience, as well, that HE cannot forget what he's done, and so cannot let himself become one of them, cannot forgive himself, and so both imagines the disdain of those he knows, and inflicts seclusion upon himself, and is actualy unaccepted by everybody else.
