I have made sales inspite of a NO SOLICITORS sign. In a lot of cases it was already there when the new people moved in and they really didnt care either way.

I think the big fake red doorbell is more funny than no soliciting signs....the other day i saw one on a glass screen door, it was hilarious....i wonder who would fall for something like that though

LOVE IT...the meatninja is correct..."no soliciting" signs = done deal! :D .... funny I ran into this, because I hit a house yesterday that had a sign on the door that read "Solicitors Welcome, dog food is expensive"...I hit the door anyway, she asked me if I could read lmao....I played dumb of course...then she threatened to send her dogs after me....two houses down I dropped a deal ;) PERSISTENCE PAYS

75% who have no solicting signs have them because either their spouse or themselves can't say NO to a door to door salesman.(I knock on every door)....25% of them put it up for religious solicitors....Ito say train my associates ..to point at the sign and say...I'm not a Jehovah Witness....
