Technically, the laptop Steve is presenting was slightly modified, and "called" a Macbook Pro. It is still around and selling for $1,199, so at least "this" Macbook, aluminum body, really has not gone anywhere, still sells like crazy.

@hipnopath Don't be pissed, your MacBook was the most unique MacBook, being the only 'Book in the prospering era of Apple to be coloured black ( except for the PowerBook G3 ). And, your MacBook has a better screen, is more durable and has FireWire 400.
