I propose an "Email Bomb". Let us set a day when all of us email our friends and family with a plea to watch a single Ron Paul video of either a debate or interview. I feel the media has painted him as an extremist wacko for decades now, and we must let people see what he is really about.
In this effort, I would hope that everyone also includes how to register as a Republican and why, along with the Primary election dates for their state.
This would be a good alternative if you don't have the money to donate to the "Money Bomb", as word of mouth from a trusted friend or family member is much better than any campaign advertisement.

What will the standard of living be if Ron Paul cut out help for the poor when ALL of the jobs are being transferred to other countries? I just don't hear a viable solution from him nor any other politician. Before you cuss me out, just know that I am trying to make an informed decision on all of the candidates.
@miskittt He's not going to cut all of it out right away. He knows people are too dependent to totally cut their programs. However, if we strengthen our currency, the jobs will come back because it will no longer be cheaper to export jobs. That is how the poor get back to work. Once that happens, he can cut those programs.

The Libertarian Party would bend over for him with 1 seconds notice and he could get on the ballot. The real issue that could keep him from running as a 3rd party is that if you run as a Democrat or Republican and don't get the nomination, you can't run at all. Democrats and Republicans obviously made those rules.
@TheHooDooQueen I had a discussion with the Constitution Party leaders about that on Facebook. They say that independents have a better chance since someone like RP will never get the GOP nomination. But in previous elections they all do so poorly and they can't get on the ballot in every state...so I agree with you: Register as a republican and vote for RP-- hopefully we can end this 2-party system soon!

As long as mega-corporations are able to sink their fangs into the neck of the US economy and suck it dry, quantitative easing could go for the next 1000 years, and all it will do is give more blood to suck out of the US.
Fix the real problem by putting measures into place that make manufacturing in the US a viable option again.

The Libertarian Party would bend over for him with 1 seconds notice and he could get on the ballot. The real issue that could keep him from running as a 3rd party is that if you run as a Democrat or Republican and don't get the nomination, you can't run at all. Democrats and Republicans obviously made those rules.

@TheHooDooQueen I had a discussion with the Constitution Party leaders about that on Facebook. They say that independents have a better chance since someone like RP will never get the GOP nomination. But in previous elections they all do so poorly and they can't get on the ballot in every state...so I agree with you: Register as a republican and vote for RP-- hopefully we can end this 2-party system soon!
