I know this bug - try to create a new user account in windows (admin). Switch to these account and install coh. After that change back to ur original account and start game. Should work!

I could play on low/medium, since then I've upgraded about 2 or else 3 times, so smooth... I think anything out now will play it just fine =)

The one thing I hate about holding that hill in the middle is the enemy gets 3-4 mortars pounding on that position if he's smart. If that's not enough at least one opponent starts laying down arty rounds. Hell on earth for the defender, lol.

Is there a population limit on this game? and is it worth getting?

There is a population limit. You wont get massive army sizes like in starcraft or age of empires or dawn of war. The max army size you can get get change depending on how much of the map you control. Dont expect to see 50 tanks vs 50 tanks.

It's worth getting since it's the best world war 2 rts game out there right now. But it's a graphics hog, be warned. If you have a fairly good computer then the graphics and sound are incredibly amazing. Gameplay is fun and easy. My only gripe is that the expansion introduced 2 factions that kinda imbalanced the game. Some factions became limited to using just one or two strats to win against certain other factions.

The only thing that bothers me about this game is that the Axis feel so overwhelmed against the mobility of the british commandos and airborne. Granted the Allies won the war but still.. I often find myself trying to use the Blitzkrieg tree for offense and i usually end up getting thrown back by something or other. I never have this problem when i play as airborne. AT Airborne drop + M18 Recoiless rifle? gg axis. Although, i wish the Axis were better.. their my favorite :)

I think it's sort of in keeping with the realism of game that they did that. After all, the Germans were quite overwhelmed by Allied numerical superiority during the duration of 1944-45. But I do agree that its kinda frustrating when you're using the Panzer Elite. Especially since its my favorite faction as well and they have the coolest weapons and vehicles in the entire game.

if everyone got a 1 shot kill from 2 feet away, it would take 5 shots to kill one squad, there is no way that anyone would play the game because their squads would die in a second. Its like saying a piece of shrapnel from one of the mortars should travel 200 feet, split into 5 pieces and kill an entire squad. or that a bullet should riccochet off of 6 peoples helmets and kill each one of them, it wouldnt make the game fun for anyone and relic would lose its players.
