A while back I tried to LOAN 25 $ dollars.... I contacted KIVA headquarters in SAN FRANCISCO, California.. They informed me that they Were NO longer accepting MONEY ORDERS because it cost them a lot of money to CASH these... Which makes want to ask COULDN'T kiva form an alliance with a bank that would NOT charge them as much for this service??...
I am CURRENTLY college student WITHOUT a credit card, I Can not contribute... KIVA MUST FIND AWAY TO ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS AS DONATIONS..
One day I watched my friend's Mom crochet what my friend (Holly) used for a dish cloth.
It was simple, & looked like a doiley made out of string. After it wears out, Holly uses it as a door jam type thingy so her dog can open the back door to come into the house.
I was thinking, they use that cheaply made doiley for 2 things, why not a 4-in-1?
1. A hat for church 2. A doiley for the table 3. A dish cloth, then when worn out, 4. a door jam!
