If you want crazy guitar work you can look to bands like Born of Osiris, The Faceless, The Black Dahlia Murder, Between the Buried and Me, Animals As Leaders, Veil of Maya, etc. Within the Ruins is just another metal band with the same generic sound as every other one out today.
