@Gamerskillsfull Nope... aside a hack that replaces the 6 in Rockman 6 with a 7, there's no nes-rom like this.

@MegaManNeo darn. yeah I downloaded that hack thinking it was actually megaman 7 and was peeved to find that out the hard way! Well in that case I downloaded it but it's in a tiny screen. Do you have a better download link or know how to make the window size fullscreen?

@Gamerskillsfull As far as I remember (been a while since I played R7FC the last time) there's a file called "config.exe" inside the R7FC-folder.

Open it and you should be able (even if you can't read the text) to change the resolution of the game-window.

Why the intro stage is not there?

My guess is because this game is suppose to be a NES/Famicom-like remake.

After all Rockman 1 up to 6 didn't had intro stages.

Yup... but just an earlier development-version that you can test.

There are also videos about it here on YT which show you more or less Frostman's stage, some BGMs and both intros.

I agree, but try searching for an application called "Joy2Key" or "XPadder".

Both tools will help you playing games like Rockman7FC using your controllers.

@TheFartman89: Sure! But you have to make a new configuration because R8FC use different keys than R7FC for the movement.

Oh ok so I got the newer version and this is the older version or version 1. Still there are certain things about this version I like a little bit more. They improved it yes but there are some things I wish they hadn't taken out in terms of graphics and what not. So I guess I will pm you the email and if you do find version 1 then let me know I think it would be interesting to have both versions since both have some good points

True they're working on "Rockman 8: Metal Heroes" in 8-BIT... but what exactly did you mean by "earlier version" ?

Speaking of my video I can tell you it's version 7.X.X. which was one of the last versions of this game.

The latest and final version is/was version 8.X.X which got released by 2chan to the 20th anniversary of Rockman.

Version 8 had a different opening and title screen and for sure some bug fixes too.

It would work.

Megaman 7 is one of the most epic, but the gameplay fails. (He was slow, ect...)

I have a question NOT about the technicalities of this game but with its story?

Which four robots are the ones that awakened to break Wily out of jail? The first four (Burst, Cloud, Junk, and Freeze) or the last four (Slash, Spring, Shade, and Turbo)? Or was it even the bosses of Wily Castle? That's never exactly made clear, and I've been wondering.

Maybe the first four, then Wily built the next four while Mega Man was distracted, but he'd have to be really fast to do that.

im a nes megaman gamer and didn't like this game for snes that much. it seemed like megaman was too big in it and things were just blown up turned into big versions...thanks for the trouble.

I know Capcom let us use the old sprites for fangames, comics and so on.

But Nintendo... well... they have nothing to do with this game.

For one Reason: It's a Windows game and not a ROM-Hack.

Capcom is actually very loose about fans ripping sprites, or recreating their works. As long as the person in question isn't going commercial with their products, they won't care.

An good example is the MUGEN community, where they pretty much recreated all every single capcom fighter in exsistance into their engine. Capcom said it themselves through an e-mail that they don't care if they're using their works. As long as they don't sell it.

I've used SnagIt 8 to record the game.

Actually a good application if you want to record games and stuff.

You could also try another tool like Fraps 1.x or Hypercam.

Fraps is good but doesn't record any sound (1.x at least).

Newer versions however can record sound, but have high limitations in the allowed length for a movie (30 seconds).

In the end... you have to pick what you want to use.

Looks like a pretty good romhack of Rockman 6 to me. Suprisingly good AI work in it, as far as being faithful to the original. Enemy layout also seemed spot on.

2Chan really did a good job on the images they inserted into it, though, like the Wily Robots in the intro.
