A tip here: put the laptop on a stand and stand up. Sitting on a chair makes one look lazy, and not involved with the entertainment. If I were a guest, all I would think is she is playing around on the computer, all the music is on auto-pilot.
i love your description. i run the sound system at my church, and for some reason the kitchen and our set up are on the same fuse, so when they plug in a crock pot in, we lose power. so we lose power in the middle of worship sometimes, audio and video!!
@TheLastDJ007 im not sure what we can do, were limited on money, space (were in the basement of a day care), and ive only been working the audio for about 3 months. but thanks for the advice! hopefully were moving soon.
a ups is a great solution for a voltage drop or sag, i use one every time i dj anywhere. i connect my mixer, computer and external hard drive to it. it completely regulates the voltage and if a drop happens it switches to the battery until outlet power is normal again. they cost about 30 to 50$.

@Robot0Ninja
You need to hook up a heavy duty drop cord to another breaker.
If not you need to pray in a good electrican.

Did u really need the small subwoofer? I think the powered speakers running full range would be enough...

Since it was outside and also using the new mixer combo added it so she knew how to hook it up to the new mixer.
