I always loved his "grandfatherly advise". He's touched so many lives with his little quips and quotes. Loved hearing the band play at the service, "When the Saints Go Marching In" with his family leading the march around the sanctuary...The best ending to a funeral I have ever been to. He would have loved it.
This Was Great ! This is Susan Baker Truitt better know to all my Pennsylvania family and Friend as Susie Baker. I Remember Grampa Dietze really well even though i was 12 when i left Pa. He used to let me sit beside him at his house on the piano stool while he played the piano. There has never been anyone else in my life who played like him. I remember he had a chomping method of playing ( i called it that) It was Great . I Love to sit and listen to him in Church . He will be missed my Many.
