Och, must be getting old...but I am so lucky! I remember the Talisman as one of my favourites. The Jeannie Deans and then the good old Duchess of Fyfe which kept Rothesay going all through the war. I lived at Ardbeg Point and watched the paddlers heading for Port Bannatyne Pier or away up the Kyles of Bute with the German band playing. And watching the engines - and high tea in the restaurant.
