Petrucci - Wishful Thinking, Satch - Midnight, Vai - i know you're here. you would know that they don't just shred. and considering the fact that three of Dreamtheaters members recorded Suspended Animation i call that a new idea. much like Liquid Tension Experiment, and countless bands that Vai has been in. including Whitesnake and Frank Zappa's band (R.I.P)

plenty of people know and adore him and not maybe hes a monster guitar player this generations vurtuoso, and i know he doesnt get a percent of the fame he diserves but its much better for him to be loved by people who apreciate and understand what he does instead of having some posers who dont know what they're talking about say your the best like synester gates or dave mustaine(only in jeff's case he is one of the best)

jeep. he is a great player. kids today are only listening to the mainstream music like rnb and rap. your right about that its better for him to be loved by those who apreciate him, but you have to be in the "metal world" or guitarworld to know him. ITs too bad that metal plays a little role in todays music. You have to do something special to get recognition. like wearing masks....

haha like wearing masks funny and true, but really its sad that alot of beautiful music isnt respected nowadays, but when you look at it its never really been in the limelight. metals always been the underdog but i think thats great because it always has to advance and adapt to be more creative even other genres like jazz, blues, or classical music are widely ignored by the mainstream dispite how many amazing bands or musicians there are i mean look at jason becker a true god but underatted

i dont listen to the mainstream stuff- i like this stuff, jazz blues classic rock and hard rock- iam olny 14 years old and i hate anything mainstream that is created today couse it all sucks! rnb and rap are terrible today. just letting you know that i am trying to inspire my generation to listen to real music- just letting u know there is hope
