I saw the cartoon. It wasn't that offensive at all. Most Muslims I know who saw it treated it like the joke it was intended to be. Only a violent vocal minority took it to unacceptable extremes. You find these idiots in every religion and every walk of life.

Man, that whole cartoon malarkey. The thing is, the "real" story is that the prophet only said it is wrong to imitate his image so that people wouldn't end up worshipping idols and such instead of the real person. Or something like that.
