This part of the game was a adrenaline pumping nightmare, you only had one ration and you most likely used it before Liquid showed up, trying your best to keep shooting Liquid in the face but then it gets harder to get a shot on him, and at the same time you're just screaming "Come on!!! Trigger the cut scene already!!!"
I just played the gamecube remake even though the graphics are better it sucks in comparison to the original on ps1 simply because the sound track is different and the characters voices have no emotion like they did on the original, i hope they do remake it but with more of an effort than they did on gamecube
@xTheJuLio Well, I would agree with the remake's inferiority, but not on the voice acting. I would say one of the things that made TTS inferior to the original was lack of a VR mode. Even still, they made Snake and Fox do som crazy awesome stuff in those cutscenes B-) .

Halo had the potential to be that, but since all other games created by Bungie after Halo 1 were rushed just to get them out on the market. 2 years per game was crap. There were at least 3-4 years between each MGS game. and it was brilliant every time.

I'd never played a "human-interest" style game before this one, it was so action packed but at the same time very dramatic and I loved that. Metal gear beats halo. Who needs high tech when you can use what you have around you. Solid snake can beat a whole fleet of tanks while master cheif can only get past maybe...10 wraiths? You halo fans gotta be kidden me.

Solid Snake is my favorite fictional hero of all time. What makes him so awesome is that he really does not have any super powers or incredible strength, yet still defeats enemies that are FAR more powerful than he is with only pure skill and cunning.

Exactly what I always found awesome about him when I was younger. It's shown frequently that he's only human, and yet he still owns. Snake was always my favorite hero when I was a little kid. You know, playing this game got you more excited than most because of that, too. You're just a man, and you're relatively weak compared to your enemies. You have to stay hidden, or chances are you're gonna die.

Solid Snake is my favorite fictional hero of all time. What makes him so awesome is that he really does not have any super powers or incredible strength, yet still defeats enemies that are FAR more powerful than he is with only pure skill and cunning.
Sorry Halo kids, Master Chief stands absolutely no chance against Snake.

Actually Liquid is dead, and he was never in Ocelot body. I forgot the major details but, they psychologically f*cked with Ocelot's mind and made him believe he was Liquid.

Exactly what I always found awesome about him when I was younger. It's shown frequently that he's only human, and yet he still owns. Snake was always my favorite hero when I was a little kid. You know, playing this game got you more excited than most because of that, too. You're just a man, and you're relatively weak compared to your enemies. You have to stay hidden, or chances are you're gonna die.
