  • that is just sick this would never happen in the UK, we're so lucky we have the NHS

  • "37th in the world" according to what criteria? Accessablility? Quality? Cost? Utilization? Notice they don't clarify that.

  • customer satisfaction, care coverage, quality of care, and many many more go check it out yourself go on WHO's website.

  • I'm sorry. for some reason I can't find the original post. Are you saying that the US is 37th in the world in health care?

  • yeh

  • absurd. When people make nutso statements like yours, I often wonder if they are A) stupid as hell, B) under the age of six, C) deliberately lying, or D) mentally impaired

  • What the hell. It actually does say the USA is number 37 in healthcare ....go look it up you are being outrageously arrogant and can't accept the fact that our healthcare is poor. You sir are , in your terms, E) all of the above

  • OK, tell what "it" is and I will look it up. Did you, by any chance, get this info from "Sicko?"

  • well no shit i got it from sicko

  • Did you bother to verify his propoganda by finding any corroborating evidence from an impartial source?

  • yeh i did goto the the fucking WHO website

  • The UN backed WHO is hardly impartial. If we are so bad, why is it that heads of state, international dignitaries, and even communist dictators come to the US for medical treatment?

  • i never said the treatment was bad in the US , you do not understand what #37 means, yes we have good health TREATMENT but what honest middle class worker can afford it? of course heads of state, international dignitarires, and dictators get the treatment because they can afford too.

  • Good point. It is the best quality, but not the most accessible. Did you know that it is illegal to purchase health insurance across state lines? If we just repealed those state laws, then you and I could choose from 1,300 companies nationwide instead of about 6 here in my state. I bet that increased competition would likely drive the cost down for us.

  • Be honest: If you got cancer, would you want to get treatment here or in Costa Rica (#36)?

  • The image of America as declined worldwide since bush came to office.

  • yes indeed.

  • Who is the awful woman narrator?

  • I work at a chain pharmacy, and I give out medication to people who can't afford it (so long as its prescribed to them ;P ). Viva la resistance- America is what you make it.

  • Next, you shouldgive out medication to people who can't get it prescribed to them.

  • America is chit

  • wyrwulf69 you said it. This country would save so much money if we didnt go to war. Everybody says that the war is not worth a thing no it is worth something. It is worth all the 5000 guys and girls that were killed over there. Stop tearing others land up and build your own up.

  • Part D costs extra. You have to buy into it, it's separate from the rest of Medicare. Many people get stuck in the Donut Hole and need to work for medication, even with Part D. It's a vicious cycle.

  • There are Part D plans that PAY in the donuthole. In addition, he could have signed up for a Medicare Advantage plan where he paid ZERO permium. How about that?

  • 2manyguitars fuck your self!!

  • Should a 500 lb man advise us on the evils of over-consumption? Should the resident of a million-dollar apartment claim to be a poster boy of the working class? Should a person who thought that Enron was a great investment, that Ralph Nader, Wesley Clark and John Kerry would win, and that North Korea's Kim Jong was changing for the better, advise us on anything?

  • ahhh quit all yer bitchin!!!!healthcare should be free in the land of the free.if we stopped destroying and rebuilding other countries we could have free healthcare and cure the homeless situation.

  • Total BS. This old dude could get a Part D prescription plan for like $20 per month and get refills for $5. The government already has a plan for him.

  • yeah he's just making it all up for attention

  • Maybe he doesn't know about Part D. Maybe he has to work because he needs money to pay his rent. Maybe this video is to make it seem like something it's not.

  • I'm pretty sure they would have tried everything else before he went out and got a job. I mean, come on.

  • How do you know??

  • uh...wouldn't you try all your options before you came out of retirement to get a crappy job cleaning floors? stop being so silly

  • tragic

  • This is so sad--this man needs to relax and try to enjoy himself---some one needs to help him!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Somebody has to work to pay for the Illegal immigrants health care, education... After all the wealthy U.S citizens need the Illegal immigrants to keep their profits margins high. It's BUSH policies 101

  • very true, thats the true reason to stop immigration, most immigrants lie to get free heath care, my mom tells me almost all her co-workers that are immigrants state lies so they don't have to pay, it pisses me off that my family had to work hard to become citizens, and new immigrants want a easy way haha both my mom and dad are from mexico and they had to bust their asses

  • I think they use the illegal immigrant debate to divert your attention to the real fact of US multi-national corporation transferring their major operation to countries like China to maximise their profits. The govt whose job to regulate this matter simply do not care.

  • Micheal moore as president!!! get the clowns out of office before another 9-11 or more families die in the war!!!

  • i feel your pain and disgust . good luck in this 'Rich'

country thats gone 2 the dogs (Bush Crime Family)

  • this is the biggest shame in our nation and its more shocking embarassing as an american, that many people in our country don't give a shit, and support the current corrupt system. We are for sure, not acaring nation, that takes care of the old and the sick young and old everyone inbetween. Its a shame!

  • I know lots of people in his shoes. My 86 year old grandfather sold his life insurance to help pay for his medications. No matter who wins the Presidential race in 2008, I don't think our health care will get any better. Though I'm voting for Hillary. Bushslastday dot com

  • you (corpros) corportist fascists really talk a big new version of Mein Kampf and economic determinism don't you. Call IT fascism if you like to exterminate the poor, fuck you. Let's start with you and what ever the fuck you represent or think you do first. You sick scumbag go over and whack to pics of fat ass Limburger or Hannitys wet-shoe polish Ronnie Bush hair, it went to far, we should of murdered people like you 35 yrs ago

  • man everybody is complaining how insurance is too expensive its $125 a month for me and i have $1million dollar coverage per year

  • try that times 4. not easy unless you make 80k a year

  • actually its times 5 at 50k a year in california

  • $125 a month is a lot of money if you're a low income earner or retired pensioner

  • this part of the movie broke my heart. and what's worse - i see people just like him all over the place - even in my family.

  • to paulwebb and other repug cowards like you National Guard ditching president sign up for Eye Racka Free-dumb and make yours the first corpse on the way from the airport to a pup tent. I was alluding, and you anti-education Repunks/southerners don't know CORPROS the name of the regime in I Can't Happen Here, it fucking did, are you diggin the fascist beat yet.

  • It appears you missed a few English courses. Try a few basic math and economic courses as well. Add up the total cost impact of 911, it was in the hundreds of billions to NY alone. Then risk factor what can really happen with a serious attack, not just some political statement on a few buildings. $500+ Billion spent in Afghanistan and Iraq is a bargain.

  • Thats just the economic side of it. Its about lives and that doesn't mean lives can be lost by bullets and explosions alone. Can you imagine an entire seaboard section of US losing power for weeks or months. You thought Katrina was a massive federal failure. The risk and potential is great. Call it fascism if you like but I think that little bug should be squashed now before it procreates.

  • This is deceptive at the very least. Current basic medicare prescription coverage provides $2400 in medications and it costs him just $65 a month. Without a supplemental medicare prescription plan above $2400 he pays 100% to $5000 or so, after that medicare begins paying 95%. Yes pharmaceuticals are to blame in this, but there is no mention of that. The premise is why isn't the government, taxpayers, paying his way without ever addressing the coporate greed which ultimately is the cause.

  • Decades ago glaucoma drops were a few dollars for a months supply. The formulations have evolved but nothing to warrant the asking price. And yes the drug reps won't hesitate dropping of cases of the stuff as "samples" which legally can't be sold and charge nearly $100 for sellable medications. You mean the drug reps can give away tens of thousands of dollars in samples to one doctors office? Ok some day they will convince of this.

  • it boils down to the question: should people die or live poorly simply because they aren't rich or at least middle income? is healthcare a right or a priviledge? I suspect AIDS has a cure, but i think the pharmaceuticals are bleeding all the people dry because they have "maintenance" medicine they can pay for.

  • Entitlement is the word you are looking for. Define what is included in 'healthcare' then we can talk about what, when and to whom the the curent "cost" of that healthcare becomes a privilege. What we are really talking about is price fixing every aspect of the healthcare system and subsidizing a certain percentage, depending on the degree of price fixing, of the lowest earners. Eliminating insurance companies will solve about 7% of the cost problem at most.

  • De-profiting or federal sponsored pharmaceuticals is going to impossible sell. Whos name fits best? Hillary "Putin" Clinton. Barac "Putin" Obama. Rolflmao. Ron "Putin" Paul FTW!

  • The people need to stand up against the government and the corporations. The government should be afraid of the people. RISE UP!!! MAKE THEM FEAR US!

  • tragicly sad

  • this was sad

  • I'm an American and this just depresses the hell out of me.

  • This country, the USA, lives in a perpetual state of war, and fanstasy of what we think we are but tragically thanks to the corpros are not and will never be, is it any wonder that the phonies we send to washington have sold us out? They've been bought, paid for and sold.

  • you know its funny you refer to corpses, but those corpses are the reason you can spew your thoughts. it just bothers you that some people still have a back bone and you would rather someone else stand up for you so you can keep talking crap. get a clue man.

  • thank god i am Canadian.

  • That dude needs to take some medical marijuana.

  • Holy shit, first time Im happy to be a French citizen! I hate a lot of things over here but at least, my mom doesnt have to pay a single dime for her cancer treatment, people with Aids are healed for free, I can go to the doctor as much as I need for free, emergency is complimentary, including the ambulance drive and get all the drugs for free, yup even vitamin C!!

  • I respect Michael Moore

  • awfull! America has to change

  • Boy I wonder if you looked into it how many of the negetive posters on this subject really work for private healthcare insurance companies and are swamping this site with negetive comments to hide the truth, I bet you'd find a lot.

  • i work in the medical field... it is CROOKED and GREED is the motivation factor. Pharmaceutical reps command a SIX figure salary, and they LOVE the Lobbyists that SELL americans their TOXIC drugs... at a 500% markup ... BASTARDS !!!! and Cancer Patients... FORGET THE CHEMO... CHEMO kills more than the cancer does !!!! Believe me from an INSIDER !

  • for the cancer problem, have you checked eastern countries ? Do they treat cancer in India, I mean if they do then it might be a lot cheaper than here.

  • thats so sad.

Micheal why don't you donate some of the money you made for these people? I do realize if you started doing this you'd never run out of people to give to..but seriously elderly people?

My heart goes out to them and believe me if I had the money I'd be paying his medicines NOW!

  • I wonder how much money Michael Moore has spent in Flint Michigan?

  • Bigracingfan2002,

And I wonder what exactly your comment has to do with the people in USA who NEED healthcare but can't get it? Oh I know!!!! Absolutely NOTHING!

  • What I mean is this...Michael Moore spends an awful lot of time riding around on his high horse..telling us what other people should be doing with their money...for example in Roger and Me, he paraded around Flint Michigan showing how awful things were since GM pulled out. His attitude was as if GM was responsible for everyone for their entire lives. (con't)

  • With his millions, why can't he do something like form a non profit organization to help people that can't get healthcare? Speaking of his millions, I wonder what his stock portfolio looks like...I wonder if he has made any money off of companies that may not offer heathcare to their employees? or are not "green"? or may have moved operations over seas? Making a whiny ass movie is one thing, but there are plenty of other more constructive things he could be doing...

  • I'm wondering if he can put his money where his mouth is, how much does HE spend in that town? Why doesnt he open shop there and employ people? Does he support the town? the restaraunts? the hotels, or anything else?

  • The last time a friend of mine and I visited Canada we were tempted to lose our papers and become medical refugees--HAHA. Of course you don't want us to emigrate, even thought we have a little bit of money. Be thankful for what you have there.

  • People like lilzog just don't know. Chemotherapy? $18,000 a treatment, needed 2x a month by a neighbor that was recently diagnosed w/cancer. Insurance, yes BUT will soon reach the "Lifetime limit". Doesn't take long at $36,000 a month. The neighbors are planning to sell their home, which will give them a few more months of treatment. Then what? I wonder what the real cost of those chemicals are?

  • That is clearly a different situation then this man. This man does not have cancer, he has regualar old age problems. The money he needs for his meds, appointments, ect does not come close the amount of your cancer victim. Again, for this mans situation, I do know that he could have done somthing in preperation for old age. The cancer victim DOES deserve more help, it was unknown. Old age, again, common sense.

  • LOL are you comparing one sickness for another? Is this a joke?? I am sure he tried so hard not to age....just like the cancer pt tries hard not to get cancer....

Again....I am wondering if you are serious...I actually chuckled when i read your comment.

  • Haha, I did the same at your ignorant unuseful comment. Apparently you have not read any of the other comments I have made. So you have no idea where I am comming from. Why don't you read up and be optimistic before you try to barge in and be a winner.

All of your comments are aridiculous waste. They are not helpful, but rather bashing, not at the subject, but to the people. Act civilized and know what your talking about before you post.

  • All of my comments?? I only commented once and it was at you.

  • I hope God doesn't let you go blind so you don't have to eat your words. No but no one in this country should have to do blind because of money.

Get it--money--NO ONE BUT NO ONE NOT IN THE RICHEST COUNRTY IN THE WORLD. Get it.

  • Lilzog---This isn't regualar olg age problems--This is caused from genes. Look it up next -- you can get it as early as 40.

  • for the cancer problem, have you checked eastern countries ? Do they treat cancer in India, I mean if they do then it might be a lot cheaper than here.

  • If Michael Moore has such a problem with this how come we dont see or hear....EVER...him donating money? Probably because he is greedy bastard following his American Dream of socialism.

  • Are you saying Micheal Moore is the real problem? Wow!

  • Actually... he does give money. Infact, he gave like $30,000 to someone that had health issues. You can see the video here in youtube. Get your facts straight before accusing someone asshole.

  • you moron, Email me when your old and in his situation.

  • You know Michael Moore?? You must know him in order to make such a rash comment....how the hell do you know what and who he donates to?

  • Do you know me....do you know me why I would make a rash comment....hmmmm Stupid ass comment on your part.

  • How do you know he doesn't?

  • Americans, don't listen to Michael Moore! The whole world knows you are being hoodwinked on every issue from health, religion and politics but we are worried over here you're gonna find out the awful truth for yourselves-thus ruining all our fun at your expense!!

Bloody Michael Moore someone stop the Man. We love Americans just as dumb as they already are....Shhhh

  • I know people like him...they cant retire because health care costs would take too much from what they would draw in retirement and social security.

  • The huge irony is that peole pay less in tax to keep universal health care, than a US person has to pay in premiums and all the other costs to get even the basic care of their private system. That's certainly the case with the Australian system. If you share the costs with all via tax, it's cheaper for all.

  • poor guy, the government should fix things like this, they definately can

  • i feel bad for that guy

  • I don't know, I'd like to think there's always some options avaiable. If he's healthcare too expensive here, why doesn't he simply move elsewhere that's more affordable in his range.

  • I'm for national health care, BUT THE CLINTONS' PLAN - KEEPING *ALL* THE PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANIES INVOLVED - WOULD HAVE BEEN A HUGE BUREAUCRATIC *DISASTER* - AND PEOPLE COULD *STILL* HAVE BEEN DENIED PAYMENT FOR INDIVIDUAL INSTANCES!

ONE *GOOD* UNIVERSAL SINGLE PAYER PUBLIC NATIONAL HEALTH CARE PLAN FOR *ALL* CITIZENS IS THE ONLY WAY TO BEGIN.

And then we use what works best in other universal national health care countries and skip any shortcomings.

  • While I do feel for this man, he could have played his cards better during his life time. There are many retirement plans that were availble even during his younger years. I do not know his history, but I would have to assume he could have done better with his money.

  • We should just feel for this man period. Even if he didn't play his cards right, he deserves our sympathy. It's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback, especially if you don't know the guy's history, and he seems like he worked extremely hard, with 3 jobs at once!

  • Lilzog... please... be careful. you have no idea. my guess...you are young. my father was a 'company' man until they reneged on all their promises. it happens. bankruptcy, lies, etc. don't you dare criticize this hard-working man. kharma is real.

  • Being young has nothing do with with my position on this matter, seeing that it is clearly within reason. Bad things do happen to people, however, there is a fine line between helping and doing. The goverment can help him for his older years, regardless of any bad outcomes, but they can't make him prepare for it. He could have done somthing.Even if it was putting away 10 dollars a week. Period.

  • He worked 3 jobs to raise his 2 children. And you're saying that he should've forseen that his health would be shit when he would retire at the age of 79(!!) and that he should've saved more money? Did you not see the video or are you rich? Save money from where? Not eat for a couple of days so that he can save a buck? Do you think before you post?

  • Yes, I am saying he should have forseen his health downfalling. COMMON SENSE that age can/will be an opening for all kinds of problems!!!! Don't wait till it happens and expect someone else to solve your issues. Both of my grandparents had 3 kids, little education and barly survived. Now, they are living luxury, why?? THEY PREPARED!! They saved money, with what little they had. They thought ahead!!! This man should of too.

  • Boo-fuckin'-hoo...

  • Yeah I can't wait until you have to work in a fucking supermarket cleaning stalls when YOU'RE pushing 80 just to pay for your prescriptions. Say goodbye to retirement, that man will be working until the day he dies, which he is trying to prolong by working a shit job. You asshole, have some empathy.

  • Yeah, loadeddiaper, it's very easy to say when your family is around to take care of you. To have and not give is worse than to take. Quit being so mother effing selfish.

  • nice vid...if you like football, check out this high schooler from HAWAII type "stutzmann"

  • i am canadian and most canadians have to pay for their drugs

  • So am I, i think it is only in Alberta where you have to pay for healthcare/drugs, or if you're using a private versus universal form of healthcare. Plus, it has to be prescription. Usually you pay and then you're insurance company refunds you in Alberta. I don't know much, I thought i'd add my 2 cents.

  • in ontario if you don't have a drug plan through work you pay for your own drugs.seniors pay $2.00 for their drugs if it is covered under the gov. plan. i've known people that have had to work 3 jobs to pay for their drugs. if your'e on social assistancw most drugs and dental is covered.thanks for responding k8

  • I'm sorry that Frank has a medical problem. He has three sons and they don't take care of their dad in his old age? Liberals feel that someone else other than his family should take responsibility for him. I should be taxed to pay for his "free" medical care? Life is what it is and there are no promises. You should be able to count on your family's support in your old age. Socialism is against the family

  • bullshit.

  • yeah, you keeep telling yourself that. ill enjoy all the free healthcare benefits over here in Australia.

  • Why do people keep saying "free". You pay for it....just in taxes. I think the australian system is probably better, but don't kid yourself, it's not free

  • shut the fuck up, no one actually thinks its free, its a lot fucking cheaper though thats the point

  • I miss wrote what I was actually trying to say that. I didnt meant to say "no one actually thinks its free" I meant to say "people know that they pay through taxes"

  • Not really, you are just being a bag of douche. Universal Health Care works extremely well and kicks capatilist health care's ass. It's not communism, its so if kids who could grow up to be John F. Kennedy or Martin Luther King don't die of a sickness their parents can't afford to cure when the kid is young because of american healthcare.

  • This is the kind of thing that makes me ashamed to live in the U.S.. This is quite sad.

  • disgraceful

  • i dont believe the generation that beat the fascists should go out this way its shamefull to america we owe them everything

  • I am not opposed to revamping our health care system. I want to know that intelligent thought is going into this, by gauging the actual costs and where the monies will really come from, the impact this will have on business and our ability to compete. If someone can do this without spazzing or ranting about how terrible one political party or the other is, please help develop this.

  • My last comment was primarily in response to natebayne's ravings. I do note that there are many who have posted intelligent comments. Thank you; I will be using those comments to understand this issue better.

  • If I heard that correctly then his employer is paying for his medicine now...what's the problem? Wake up people...central planning doesn't work. The problems with the US heath care have to do with too MUCH government...not too little government.

  • Are people responsible for choices they make? I know that if I been more responsible when I was younger, I would have been better off now financially. this means I would be better able to take care of myself now. The actor here walks better than I do. Why does no one investigate on how individuals did or spent respources when they were younger instead of expecting others to take care of them, either financially or otherwise? Thanks.

  • You ignorant fool. The rest of the world has gov'ts that are willing to help. America has the worst Health Care in the modern world. How DARE you try to justify the current state of things and say its the people's fault. Its the government's fault, we need to fix things... GET RID... OF THE DAMN REPUBLICANS. WE NEED THE DEMOCRATS TO COME IN A FIX OUR COUNTRY. The current state of things is outrageous.

  • Whose pocket does the money come from? Shall we become a solidly socialist state like France? Get your head out of your ass and show that you have the intelligence to discuss this. It isn't govt that will save you. While we figure the best and fairest way to address healthcare, are we ( you included) making good choices? Smoking, drinking, overweight, putting money aside for the future? These all affect how much govt. will have to take out of others' pockets.

  • Get my head out of my ass? Perhaps you should take a look at yourself you freaking moron. Its a reason its called FREE Medical care in other countries, it works. Oh and guess what... the doctors get paid just as much as U.S. Doctors. How do i know that? Its good to have a father who is actually a doctor. Maybe you should see if you have the intelligence to argue this point before you bestow your ridiculous opinion upon us.

  • Unbelievable. Because it's called free, there's no cost? Let's take this one step at a time. Please tell me where the money comes from for this free care? 2nd step you didn't answer. Yes, people make choices and are responsible for the ramifications of their decisions. Please explain why this isn't so.

  • Its funny you choose france as your example... perhaps you should look at the rest of the world, which has superior health care to America. Clear the bullshit out of your eyes and see whats going on you fool. People like you should be delt with... your ideals are what is currently running this country and RUINING IT. You think universal health care is a pipe dream? Prove to me you're not a moron, do some research.. pay attention to the rest of the world..

  • As I understand it, there were some issues with WHO's criteria for their rating of health care systems. America has room for improvement. Their are advantages to America, though, i.e. waiting times. People come from to America from different countries, including Canada, so as to receive top health care sooner rather than later.

  • I will end with a statement(not quote) from the movie itself, which rings so true, nobody with a proper mind can deny it. If you have the money to kill, you have the money to save. Its that simple... period. Take a look at your political stance, because you're wrong, ive argued with idiots like you too many times. Something needs to be done.

  • You will always need money for military because mankind is what it is. Take away the war, even if the Democrats win ( and they probably will)the White House, they will increase our military 's size. The point about who pays for the universal health care is not fully addressed. It is addressed by talking about better efficiency and savings cost. They leave open tax raises, (which will be needed to fund a universal health care system.)

  • Thanks for this follow-up interview. Very interesting.

  • thats fucking horrible.... wow dude thats scary.

  • Micheal Moore, Thanks for exposing the criminal industrial complex, "health" institutions, Insurance mafias & the government's complicity & incompetence in serving the American tax payers & the general American people, when they fall victims to these voltures. I wonder how many people have died under these false mesiahs. Some of us lived for years under these criminal's unholy trinity, refused to be treated for a deadly menace after paying our taxes for over 25 years.

  • The pt. addressed here is about U.S.'s poor healthcare system. It's not to make excuses for this poor man's inability to retire at his old age. Don't be so proud because you have a college degree. Every`'s graduating from college now which creates more competition for every1. It is the people with cold hearts like some who have left comments here that make U.S. a very bureaucratic, ignorant, and selfish nation. It affects everyone, which includes you.

  • To all of you who say things like "he should have gone to college, or this is what happens when you don't work hard in school." Tell me what company will hire a 97yr old that would pay a decent salary? You should all go to hell... If you continue to have the attitude you have then we'll see what happens when you are old and healthcare costs 3x the amount of your cost of living. Maybe you should kill yourselves now and do the world a favor!

  • The pt. addressed here is about U.S.'s poor healthcare system. It's not to make excuses for this poor man's inability to retire at his old age. • lightning, I don't know his story, but I know that I could have made different choices in my life. I have a friend that retired at 47. He did not have college, but he had a good work ethic, save money and invested. He worked for Metro. I made different choices, was not thrifty, did not save or invest so I cannot foresee when I will be able to retire. I agree that compassion is needed, but somehow we need to turn this around and educate people in such a way as to reach them.

  • Maybe he should have gone to college is that a fucking joke my dad gradauted highschool in 84 and only about ten to 15 of about 300-400 grads went to college.this guys an old man he went to school when they thought if you gradauted high school you were a goddamn scholar. Not everybody has the money or resources to go to college and college is no gaurantee you'll get a good job.some of you need to find out how the poorer side lives.

  • SAY The Holy Rosary and get RID of the jerks in Washington ! If we all Pray GOD will Take Care of them ! And vote the BUMS out .KUCINICH 2008 or be sorry you didnt

  • He should have gone to college.

  • sigh...this is what will happen if you don't work hard in school...now he's paying for his mistake for the rest of his miserable life...pity

  • maybe he couldn't afford college.

  • back then i guess having a college degree is fine. but right now the one you were taught is just a basics. like right now, look in your paper a registered nurse had a debt of $23,ooo of her college expenses. I guess thats not alot. right now she's still paying for it. she's stuck on her credit debt. you see how difficult is that? you'll need to get in a no zone borrowing money

  • SO WHAT IF HE WORKS UNTIL HE DIES! Nothing is free -get over it, and start working harder!

  • have sum heart for that crippled old man...n' trust me nobody wanna work like crazy when they got old...

at least he has worked his whole life...he should be entitled to some kinduva security

  • OMG, you are selfish to the point of insensitive and you call yourselves a christian nation. you are nothing but a right wing asshole.

  • A lot of supporters of universal healthcare have rather simple-minded analyses. But I still agree with them. According to an article on wikipedia about "Healthcare", Afghanistan and Iraq have universal healthcare that is funded by the U.S. Very ironic. The federal government pays for the universal coverage for two other countries but not its own.

  • life in the u.s. sucks, unless you're rich or somethin'

  • Actually, life in the USA is pretty good if you give half an effort. Yeah, things could always be better, but we're hardly a bastion of suffering here.

  • How many "lives" abroad you know? You have being "buying" lies about your own country for so long. Your governament is lying for you. Pushing your country to bankrupt (7 trillion of internal debit 800 billions/y debit trade balance). Wake up. Almost all country in the world have their level of need (in terms of calorie intake) fullfilled. Just some poor country in Africa dont. What make life better is not buy cars but have at least basic need as medicine for all and you dont have this

  • Wow, how much babbling can you do in one comment? Most of all that is opinion (IE: BIASED), and has nothing to do with healthcare systems whatsoever.

And just a little note, 7 trillion + a few random billion is nothing when considering the GDP of the USA. Its called perspective, and I think you could use some.

  • you even dont know you rown domestic GDP? I will tell you...It is 14 trillions. Your debit is more than 55% of all your GDP. It is the biggest percentage among all nations.why do you think your national coin is so weak? You have alsoa hug eanualinternal debit and alsoexternal..and things are going worse...therefore you system is not working is it?

  • That GDP is an annual amount. It is the biggest % because we are also the richest nation, and so is less of a problem for us. Our capitalistic system goes up and down, thats how it works. Give it 10 years, we'll be back up, another 10 we're down. That doesn't mean it isn't working, it just means the cycle continues.

  • You keep not having any idea about your economy alsoa bout any economic concept at all

YOUR GDPis about 14 trillions. Go and learn what is GDP. It means 55% of your national wealth (it means everything you have inside...public and private) is not yours but debit. Consequences of this are huge. But I bet you cannot uderstand at all

  • What I can't understand is your English writing. I've taken enough economic and political science in my time to understand that it isn't as big a deal as what you apparently believe. Yes, its important to deal with it (which we will), but no, its not "huge" as you say.

  • I think you can understand since your replies has been consistent to my posts. You are saying your GDP is big enough for stand for your internal debit. I am saying no. Blame language if you want to. But ai m telling I can fully understand what you are saying and I am telling. No you are wrong you have no ideia of what you are talking about

  • Uh huh, go with that if it works for you.

More opinions, thats all. Our opinions don't change the fact that the USA has suffered MUCH WORSE as to economic strife, and we survived the stronger for it. I don't claim there aren't problems, but I also don't think shucking the entire system would solve them. I also didn't say YOU were wrong, just that your perspective and scale were off considerably.

  • "it it i snot huge as you say" lololol

Every economist you ask will tell you i555 of the GDP is HUGE. Also for the IMF standards would put your country close to bankrupt. Govenament keep saying something will happen (same discuss as global warning)

what I ask is: What will happen?

  • Gosh..I can make mistekes in 4 languages. Fix some

    It is not a Huge...

also economist will tell you 55%...

for the IMF standards your country would be...

    ...as global warming

  • mistakes lolololol

  • I know 3 languages, but I don't pretend to know the cultures and political systems (in depth) of those who's language I speak/write. I also don't insult them off the bat just because I can. Its better to observe and learn before you rant off about whats wrong with them, before you bother learning whats good about them. Just knowing English doesn't mean you understand the culture of the USA, too many people make that mistake.

  • I did not insult you as a person (you seem to be very polite) It is a matter of concepts. I am not anti-usaor something. whatyou do not realise is: People who are telling stories abiout how the things will be fixed by thenselves are those who want you be destroyed. If someone tellyou the truth even if it is bitter they are more friendly than those who tell you lies

  • Perhaps you aren't anti-US, but you speak the speak of it. I've grown tired of the constant jabbing at the US. Its so easy to point and blame, and not do anything to help. When we have a disaster, who helps? Nobody. Yet everyone cries when the US doesn't offer aid in the most remote places on Earth. This bickering on our healthcare system doesn't solve anything, only our gov't can solve that. It is an internal US problem, our private business.

  • You keep inetfering with most country in the world in one way or another it seems you legitimate the opposite dont you? but ok

health system can be but not Global Warning and also the way you manage your economy. Know what happened in the world after the 29 crash? Economies are now much more integrated

besides...discuss a problem doesnt mean interference
