I saw a bottle like that in my ceramic class, but I never got the chance to ask my teacher how to make it. The neck of his was much thinner and longer, but it helps to know. Ty!
i like to use the heat gun because it lets me freeze a spot that might otherwise sag droop or fall when im working on an area above it.. alot of the time i'll use it at the end for 20 secs or so, and it firms it up so i wont dent it when i pick up the piece.
Excuse me, what is the name of the type of clay you are using?

sorry, but the video is totally annoying. Slow down, looks like your technique is good but who can see it with the super high speed.

Nice music and throwing. What's that specific clay body, because looking at it makes me miss throwing ^10 "real" porcelain.
cedricstuever 6 months ago
@cedricstuever Its a cone 10 domestic porcelain. Sometimes i throw grolleg but mostly domestic cause its much less expensive. :)

You're the first person i've seen use a heat gun while throwing. Could you explain when and why you use it?
Great Videos :]

Love how you don't really "pull" the neck, but instead just seem to push it up and in from the outside.
