Actually, several people were badly injured during this 'friendly' waterfight. There's always someone in the crowd that spoils it for all. Thats why the police were called. as for the fat, long-haired idiot, where else in the world can you adopt a fighting stance in front of a riot officer and not get arrested? This is true. But also realise that the environment people grow up in influences them serverely. There is only so much academic education can achieve. A kid born in that part of London will always have that behaviour in him or her. So yes, I agree with education, but I also advocate the improvement of living standards to support it. It is however still no excuse for ethnic discrimination, there is no such thing as racism, we are all one race.

yeah but Im from Forest Gate, Newham in East London. It's one of the most deprived areas in Western Europe yet I know lots of people that have managed to stay on the straight and narrow, and get themselves into Universities due to dedication and good parenting. When I was younger I got arrested a few times for silly things like drug dealing and carrying weapons but I wasnt on buses or in parks on a hype just coz the suns out. Your just making excuses for these youngens.

Not entirely, I am simply stating that they are not to blame for their behaviour. The environment they grew up in influenced them that way; that and the indoctrination into what ever culture they witnessed and grew up in. You could put two kids from the same ethnicity in two very different locations and watch them grow up differently. People do not seem to realise that everything, everything in our lives has been influenced by one factor or another. No excuses there i.m.h.o.

If you were born into a family where as a child no body taught you the value of self worth or esteem and you had the unfortunately chance of interacting with friends from similar households, personal responsibility may not even factor in such a scenario. @iamlondon Is it really relevant to call all black people's offspring "wild"? Your comment is slightly hypocritical in the sense that you're referring to how bad and how violent one race is, and you wonder why there is a need to rebel? Well I'll tell you why.. It's because of people like you. & I was informed that the only rude or violent behaviour that occured was due to the police & their unnecessary actions. This was a good day out & a chance for kids to get OFF the streets. So think twice.
