Yeah, mate. I added the joint and the smoke myself. At the time I drew this, I was just getting to grips with Photoshop. This was all just one layer and to do a similar portrait now, I'd have the time cut down to rougly 2 hours instead of 6 or whatever it was, along with better foreground and background effects.The reason why I turned it black and white was to emphasis the Jamaican smoke.

Was a while ago that I did this. I'd say about 6 hours. I didn't understand layers and stuff at the time, so if I were to go back and do this again, it would take about 2 hours less and look a little better. This was one single layer.

Was a tricky one this. Bob's facial features and expresson in the photo meant that one thing just a fraction out of place would upset the whole ballance of the image. I'd to take more time at it that I would have liked. Roughly 6 ours. PLus I'm still learning Photoshop's other features that I used to create the smoke, so the time would have been less otherwise.
