This all i heard: I'm an innocent twat who believes everything people tell me regardless of the facts. I don't really think for myself. blah blah blah I didn't even write my speech. The only time I speak like i know what I'm talking about is when i use abstract metaphors.
Looking at this series I notice that every comment is taking the side that C02 reductions are not worth the money. Perhaps people have searched specifically to find evidence as to why we should do nothing about it?
In my opinion the reducing carbon is pointless if taken in its own right. It's a stupid was of framing any debate like this.
The real problem is energy and energy parity. The only way the USA and Europe can hope to compete in the future is by increasing efficiency, this is obvious.
Why does everybody focus on the tax and not on long term effects that would help make a better world and solutions that would benefit everyone whether in a first world or developing country? Its not all about you. People have to learn how to look at the bigger picture and not just their own selfish interests. If we continue to behave this way, there won't be any hope for us and the next generations to try and live a better life.
