It's quite annoying when someone is talking about something serious like diabetes and when he shows something important like the omnipod they all scream and are just thinking "omg, he's lifting his shirt 6 inches!" ...If these girls really loved him they'd take the time to listen to his story. With my 24 yr old diabetic daughter, she has had it since age 6. It has been rough at times, but it does get easier. Every year the ADA sends out a holiday catalog, which a certain % goes to diabetes research. I have boughten their yearly "gift of hope" xmas tree ornament ever since the year of daughters diagnosis (1990). Someday maybe they will come out with the "cure" ornament.

Live the dream of the cure coming...it is!

aww i love him though. did you video tape this at like a concert? they play them on the big screen at my concert august 7th and all of a sudden it went silent when they played this. some of us started cryinggg. and for othber ones they played we screamed, but we all respected this and when he played a little bit longer (: He touches me so much. he even started crying at my concert, but he had the fans here. (: i lovee nick joe and keivn with a passion and that's just the way i roll.

People i know! My mom had diabetes! It may not cause problems in the beginning, but it puts wear and tear on your body and causes future problems. Very bad future problems. I know nick is not the only one with it and most people cant afford what he wears that thing on his arm. But he is not always going to be as healthy as he is right now. I fully support nick jonas in his battle against diabetes! I luv all the jonas brothers! =):)

i agree, but i think what makes him cry and and fans cry is that when he sing the song that he wrote about his diabetes, everyone is singing with him and i guess he just get overwhelmed that everyone knows the words to a very personal song he wrote, and that every night they sing along with him. And then the fans probably cry just from watching Nick cry . But i get what your saying. diabetes isn't the worst disease out there, but its definitely not easy to live with.

It's not about thinking he's dying, it's just very personal, about how alone and scared he felt and people can relate that to any situation in their life where they felt that, so it's powerful and emotional. If you can't tell, he pretty much is living life to the fullest!
