The computer I was using during this wasn't that great.....e-machine, 3.0ghz, single core, ati 4770 graphics card.....now though I have a dual core laptop from school, 2.4 ghz, I think the graphics are ati 3660 or something like that. Not much better but it is a small improvement.

You can never make a video greater quality than it already is and if you are talking about getting the HD button on your videos on YouTube I am unsure but I do have a video on Sony Vegas 8 that would allow you to get the HD button.

you are never able to upgrade quality because that is impossible with anything. You can make the picture look better if you make the resolution smaller but that's all. You can never actually make anything better than it's original copie.
