This is definitely one of the most underrated tracks of all time. So glad I discovered Yann Tiersen. Fell in love with tracks such as comptine dun l'apres midi and l'absente. Never knew that he also was involved in some beautiful collaborations like this.

This song and Les jours tristes with Neil Hannon, are easily two of the most underrated songs of all time.

Yann or Yannick, are common names in france...

I guess Yann is a celtic name of the christian one, Jean.... not sure
