met a woman I didn't know who said she knows me..a worry. turns out when I was 18 (38 years ago) I took her for a ride in a glider.. I wish I knew then how much of an impression it made eh.. gliders are uba cool.. feeling like a bird must.. the sensation is of sitting on a 200mm wide plank in the middle of the sky.. also you can pull hot chicks eh

Gotta love gliding. I got to fly the clubs T21 a few days ago. Was amazingly tranquil in the air. I love that there's no noise but the air passing around you.

Well here's the inside scoop about the music: The Track is called "Music Sounds Better With You" by Stardaust and in the Video, a kid builds a model glider and flies it in the rolling hills around his house... I think it's a cool choice... House music is just not everybody's cup of tea...

This is not smoke but water....

You have to choose between climbing fast or travelling fast...in the competition you will choose the last one..

the water will make the glider heavier thus the max glide speed will be increased and you can travel faster between thermals...and you have to jettison water before landing...(arrival)

no engine, these are gliders :P the start with a winch or a tow from a other plane and try to keep high using hot air. the smoke you see is the water they are dropping

They are dropping water after a run. They carry water to get higher speed and more distance. When a distance, speed, or duration trial is finished the pilots eat up their speed with a little hard maneuvering while they drop their water.

There's no need to land hot with a full ballast tank.
