the clatter is apparently not heard from the assembly. Of course, the camera being right next to the keyboards, well we hear it. I've been said the public doesn't... Thanks for watching! CN
maybe I wasn't delicate enough... anyway was a fun organ to play! The nice thing is that if you like Arrauxo, you have free castagnettes while you play :-))
Thats not laissez-faire, quite a stupid expression according to what France does for her organs. And better do nothing than alterate historical instruments.
No. I bet tis the will of the organ builder: have a very sensitive transmission for the player, so just simple leather the pallets. The rest works hard on hard. Some organists knows how to manage with it, but less.
And this will not be heard from down the earth anyway.
Yeah, the trackers are loud, because the mechanics is completely manual: a delight for a harpsichordist like me! And apparently they don't hear the trackers from downstairs...

I want one so bad :( how do organs work? Is there someone working in the basement moving a machine that makes the wind go around?

Could it be possible that we can also see some close ups of your footwork on the pedals in further videos?

mha...... che martellate sui tasti........... mi immagino sui pedali cosa combinerebbe!!!!
hotmusic84 2 years ago

Couldn't they put some thin "felt" under the positif keys to dampen the clatter?
Or would that be a-historical?
Is it the trackers making the noise or the keys hitting bottom?
Lovely instrument, nothwithstanding the extra bit of non-musical noise.

On vient danser devant l'orgue?

Interesting, thanks.
Are there any pedals?

I doubt it was that loud originally, but given the French laissez faire attitude to maintenance, the tracker bushings are probably worn out.
Lovely when the loud reeds get pulled out.
