@TheHeadHunter824 ... I built it and run it for awhile more to see if it would work, it's was a very good . But I since decommissioned it, and rebuilt for show events randomly
@coltar1234 Really depends on your budget ... ideally somthing more modern than a TA03... id go with the HotBodies TC-D or the HPI Pro-D both good cars and very low maintenance
I always use HPI T-Drifts... they just work better imo, ive tried pvc and abs and poly etc etc.. and many other brands like kawada, ride, street jam, yokomo's
i got one but its frankly sh*t at going round a track, its drift stops it from turning very well at all, nice if you want to go round in a circle all day but not so got for speed or grip..
I took a TA03F into a 2nd pos on the grid for the A-main at a event only 2 months ago, i ran this car for a laugh and get heads turning.. and everyone was blown away by how well it fended considering ive never raced onroad tc before.. i race offroad 90% of the time and 10% was F1's, I think it was more driver & setup issues than the car itself as these cars did very well back in the day when they were released..
is that midland gate? U still got this? U should bring it to stannies next time if u do. Its brendon btw if u didnt notice by the username, just added a 101 on the end lol.
Its a old Tamiya chassis and you can only pick them up 2nd hand or NIB on ebay trading posts, rc drift forums etc, some LHS might still have them. As for the body its a tamiya R32 calsonic which i brought off ebay around $25USD +postage.
Seriously how old are you ? Its a police state out there on the roads, thus RC scale models are attractive and we are outside at the same time, better than sitting in front of a computer watching youtube and writting negative comments about the youth.

Its made it a different car, better for really tight tracks, rather loose on the high speed approaches but havn't had any tuning time yet.
