This is a most excellent video. Better than anything I have seen this week. Dr. Gerson was denied the freedom of speech and freedom of press here in America. As an american I am ashamed that my country has done this to the brightest doctor of the century. I lost my mother to cancer in 2005. She was diagnosed in Sept and died in Jan. She could be alive today if we truly had the freedoms we claim to have.... but do not because corporate America controls food and drugs.....

Testimonials are anecdotal evidence at best, the very thing science has taught us we cannot rely on. Provide a proper clinical trial (it’s really not that hard) for the claims made by the Gerson Institute. The therapy has been around since 1928, it’s way past due!

@reggieboycan If you have cancer I would stongly suggest watching Food Matters.Cut,Poison,Burn and Burzynski The Movie.In Food Matters(I recommend this 1st)it talks about HOW clinical trials are bogus.They don`t have to say anything about all of their failed trials.Only 2 that are in a drug companies favor.Then FDA will give them a license.Do they tell you about all of the hazards of chemo and radiation?If you want to give someone cancer give them either of these treatments.

Huh I guess thousands of testimonials are not good enough for some people, having watched 4 people die in my family from cancer, I've read alot on it to not become a victim some day, to not make the mistakes they did. Giving hope to the hopeless, a timeless classic perfected by religion. Do a little research and you'll find this 'treatment' to be a load of rubbish. You would think after all these years someone (including the Gerson Foundation) would bother to run a reputable trial. All known attempts to independently verify the results of the therapy have been negative and shown zero beneficial results. These are the facts and not a result of influence held by the drug industry.

Its all so easy to stand back and say chemo and surgery are terrible solutions for cancer, but i would love to see these people tell be the one to break the news to someone they have cancer, and what are they going to do to treat them? Tell them to exercise and eat organic food.
The capitalist structure supports both sides. These methods must be addressed on a case by case basis. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and know that both sides worked for me. If this health care machine hadn't initiated aggressive treatment and I countered with a change in lifestyle then, who knows. The progressive stance here is realizing a wake up call to everyone in the US that until we return to a healthful, balanced diet with a garden to farm to table approach no real change will take place.
Instead of watching a film do some reasearch from verified scientific sources to verify the truth, stop using Selection / Confirmation Bias and eyewitness testimony to make major decisions with your life. Many people have done this treatment and died because of it. There is no evidence, NO EVIDENCE and the evidence they use was so poorly controlled that there is no way of verifying if they were on multiple treatments during testing

Don't you think those people died because of the cancer and not the cure? And I have not really seen a case of lung, breast or colon cancer where the patient survives for a long period. The Gerson therapy is all organic which doesn't raise any flags, and its not like a terminal cancer patient can buy years because of chemo.

Even supermarkets are feeling the pressure of places like Whole Foods, Fresh and Easy and Trader Joes to name just a few. Does your town have it's own member owned co-op? Might want to check that out. Also read some Michael Pollen's books like "The Omnivores Dilemma, In Defense of Food, etc.

interesting movie, but only really shows one side of the story. The film never examine any negative effects from the treatment or try to track down relative of people who have died while on the Gerson therapy. It does not talk about a study were 21 patients were tracked after treatment and 20 died and the one that was living after 5 years still has cancer. Plus it was reveal that the gerson institute does not even keep track of patients after they leave, so their survival rate is questionable
@Liammm123 gerson therapy is not just juicing it is drinking 250 ml of juice every waking hour, plus taking massive amounts of vitamin pills, plus a no sodium, vegaterian diet, and coffee enemas. There are going to be negative effects of coffee enema, atleast. I just want to know everything about the gerson therapy before I come to a conclusion about it, not just the sugar coated positive side of the therapy as is stated in the movie.
@scottidsntknw Lets put this in perspective, the traditional treatment for cancer is Chemotherapy. A report published in the journal Clinical Oncology in December 2004 showed average success of Chemo in treating all cancers in the USA was 2.1% (two point one percent) Ok, that was in 2004, and there have been dramatic improvements in Chemo, so that its now 5%. The majority that survived after chemo, suffer from the side effects of chemo. Chemo has a 95% failure rate!
@Rayiw We know the good and the bad of traditional treatments, all I am saying is the the movies is one-side and only show the success of the gerson therapy. The premise of the movie is to try of find out if the gerson therapy is effective. I just want to know what the film left out, believing that if they wanted to show whether the therapy is effective or not they should have included more information on both sides of the issue.
@scottidsntknw U may be short changing the movie. The movie show'd me a therapy used for many years, with solid success which is now used by the Japanese who also have solid documented success. It also showes how disinterested conventional doctors are in successful treatments. Rather than embrace, they shoot from the hip, even admitting they have not attempted to investigate Gersons method. Its not about health, its purely about money for the conventional doctors. So much for "do no harm.."
@scottidsntknw this is not an isolated case. The conventional crowd did the same in Canada with Gaston Naessens, took him to court and lost. The same with Dr. John Holt in Australia, same with Hoxsey, same with Hulda Clarke,and R.R. Rife. If you take a look at the big picture, you will know that Gersons is just one more example of persecution of a doctor with effective treatment up against the Pharmaceutical industry. I hope I'm not believing this because I want to, but it makes COMPLETE sense to me. I, for some reason can't believe the patients of Gerson's treatments. Is that weird? But, like I said, cleaning ourselves of everything bad we put into our bodies makes perfect sense to me. It seems that it should be considered common sense. @umarbryce Science works like a court, it listens to all parties involved in the dispute but establishes what is true and what not. In order to do it, you must show evidence, the evidence has to be proven for it's rightness and validity. Only this way you can provide justice, this documentary is like a witness telling a story without any evidence.

People who say this doesn't work have either:
1) been completely brainwashed by the med. industry that makes billions on suckers, or
2) they work for the med. industry (espec. cancer & diabetes) and don't want to see their jobs go away
No question that this works-I've seen people cured with this therapy, & I've also seen people die from chemotherapy.

This is a most excellent video. Better than anything I have seen this week. Dr. Gerson was denied the freedom of speech and freedom of press here in America. As an american I am ashamed that my country has done this to the brightest doctor of the century. I lost my mother to cancer in 2005. She was diagnosed in Sept and died in Jan. Testimonials are anecdotal evidence at best, the very thing science has taught us we cannot rely on. Provide a proper clinical trial (it’s really not that hard) for the claims made by the Gerson Institute. The therapy has been around since 1928, it’s way past due!

Giving hope to the hopeless, a timeless classic perfected by religion. Do a little research and you'll find this 'treatment' to be a load of rubbish. You would think after all these years someone (including the Gerson Foundation) would bother to run a reputable trial. All known attempts to independently verify the results of the therapy have been negative and shown zero beneficial results. These are the facts and not a result of influence held by the drug industry.

Dr. Gerson's methods are very good, but just one of many ways to go. Jethro Kloss "Back to Eden" was curing cancers in the 1920-30 era with herbs and nutrition. Royal Rife's resonance machine worked beautifully, but was squashed by the AMA-FDA in 1939. (more)

The capitalist structure supports both sides. These methods must be addressed on a case by case basis. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and know that both sides worked for me. If this health care machine hadn't initiated aggressive treatment and I countered with a change in lifestyle then, who knows. The progressive stance here is realizing a wake up call to everyone in the US that until we return to a healthful, balanced diet with a garden to farm to table approach no real change will take place.

Even supermarkets are feeling the pressure of places like Whole Foods, Fresh and Easy and Trader Joes to name just a few. Does your town have it's own member owned co-op? Might want to check that out. Also read some Michael Pollen's books like "The Omnivores Dilemma, In Defense of Food, etc.

The problem with so-called "scientic evidence" it is laced with POLITICS and American Greed. Many people have died because of these two factors. I would rather trust someone who is trying to cure a disease than a person who is trying to keep the revolving door of greed going round and round.

Sorry about hitting the dislike button while looking for PAUSE. I wonder how many other people made that same misstake. Did anyone see Death by medacine? Most of my aunts and uncles died using convesional quakery. With one exception of an uncle in germany that went to the Gerson Instatute and recovered.

Truth will always come to light. It's just of matter of time before patients and people in general pressure the government to change the restrictive laws that prevent Americans from receiving Gerson Therapy from doctors here in the states. American patients should not have to travel outside of the country to receive Gerson's Therapy. Spread the message and share this link. Share this knowledge. This can and will save people's lives. We are always told that our life expectancy has grown year over year, but this is a false impression - 100 years ago they had barely begun to wash their hands between operations or during childbirth! If you adjusted for infant mortality, accidents and lack of amenities, you'd find some different numbers.

Something that is known however is the placebo effect, in where sometimes around a THIRD of patients recover from the simple act of thinking they are getting better. This effects plague the drug industry because many of their drugs don't do better.

interesting movie, but only really shows one side of the story. The film never examine any negative effects from the treatment or try to track down relative of people who have died while on the Gerson therapy. It does not talk about a study were 21 patients were tracked after treatment and 20 died and the one that was living after 5 years still has cancer. Plus it was reveal that the gerson institute does not even keep track of patients after they leave, so their survival rate is questionable

@Liammm123 gerson therapy is not just juicing it is drinking 250 ml of juice every waking hour, plus taking massive amounts of vitamin pills, plus a no sodium, vegaterian diet, and coffee enemas. There are going to be negative effects of coffee enema, atleast. I just want to know everything about the gerson therapy before I come to a conclusion about it, not just the sugar coated positive side of the therapy as is stated in the movie.

@scottidsntknw Lets put this in perspective, the traditional treatment for cancer is Chemotherapy. A report published in the journal Clinical Oncology in December 2004 showed average success of Chemo in treating all cancers in the USA was 2.1% (two point one percent) Ok, that was in 2004, and there have been dramatic improvements in Chemo, so that its now 5%. The majority that survived after chemo, suffer from the side effects of chemo. Chemo has a 95% failure rate!

@Rayiw We know the good and the bad of traditional treatments, all I am saying is the the movies is one-side and only show the success of the gerson therapy. The premise of the movie is to try of find out if the gerson therapy is effective. I just want to know what the film left out, believing that if they wanted to show whether the therapy is effective or not they should have included more information on both sides of the issue.

@scottidsntknw U may be short changing the movie. The movie show'd me a therapy used for many years, with solid success which is now used by the Japanese who also have solid documented success. It also showes how disinterested conventional doctors are in successful treatments. Rather than embrace, they shoot from the hip, even admitting they have not attempted to investigate Gersons method. Its not about health, its purely about money for the conventional doctors. So much for "do no harm.."

@scottidsntknw this is not an isolated case. The conventional crowd did the same in Canada with Gaston Naessens, took him to court and lost. The same with Dr. John Holt in Australia, same with Hoxsey, same with Hulda Clarke,and R.R. Rife. If you take a look at the big picture, you will know that Gersons is just one more example of persecution of a doctor with effective treatment up against the Pharmaceutical industry. Take the illegal kidnapping of Greg Caton by the FDA as a recent example.

I hope I'm not believing this because I want to, but it makes COMPLETE sense to me. I, for some reason can't believe the patients of Gerson's treatments. Is that weird? But, like I said, cleaning ourselves of everything bad we put into our bodies makes perfect sense to me. It seems that it should be considered common sense. How can MOST doctors say that Gerson's Therapy can't possibly work when EVERYTHING in this world comes from nature, originally?

I can't believe that people are so easy to convince to something that has such a questionable background. If this is a documentary, where are the documents to prove the rightness of this therapy?? All I can see is a bunch of people claiming it works and stockpiles of "some" files, there is no scientific evidence how this therapy should work.

There must have been some research done if they say it works but this documentary doesn't show any of it. It claims that somebody research something and proved that it cures cancer but where are the research papers? Where is the EVIDENCE?

@umarbryce Science works like a court, it listens to all parties involved in the dispute but establishes what is true and what not. In order to do it, you must show evidence, the evidence has to be proven for it's rightness and validity. Only this way you can provide justice, this documentary is like a witness telling a story without any evidence.

There are plenty of people who will testify that this works......that my friend is called EVIDENCE!! I have been looking into this at depth the proof is there if you want it.....just do a little more research instead of looking at one video and then deciding everyone involved is a quack.

@eMJeyCGN This is just my personal opinion. Not written to offend anyone. I understand what u mean about how cancer comes from nature, too. Yes, but can't we try our best to prolong our lives? Going through a healthy diet doesn't really mean we're not gonna have illnesses in the future as we grow older. Of course, all of us die. It's just that let's take care of our bodies and not abuse it 'til our bodies give in. It's also not bad to just do it ryt? I mean veggies aren't that threatening ryt?

I am very pro healthy diet but definitely against people claiming that they can cure cancer just by dieting. Can't you see that they make money of people in final stages of cancer?

Citrus fruits cure scurvy - diet is paramount. If you cannot grasp how cancer could be cured by diet you know little about both.

I wonder what medical/scientific knowledge you have to make such statements as "natural state of human organism is perfect health". There is no such thing as perfect health in a medical meaning, no matter if you consider the so called "modern" or "traditional" medicine. Notice that even "traditional" Chinese medicine does acupuncture which should increase flow of energy in the body, even a healthy body.
